Braun Series 7 Shaver with Precision Trimmer

The shave is really quud, and quick, and the battery life is good. BUT compared to my old Philishave Rotary shaver it is very messy: on the Philishave the shavings are mostly retained in the head which you can clean periodically, but with the Braun the shavings all just fall, so you have to shave over the sink. If you shave "on the go" you just end with a shirt covered in shavings. For this reason I find the shaver disapointing and only give 2 stars.

I've tried a couple of different electric shavers over the years but this is by far my favourite one. It looks and feels very premium and it's super comfortable to use. Most importantly it provides a really nice close shave, leaving my skin nice and smooth- no irritation or red marks to be found here. The battery life is great, I get around 3 weeks worth of battery and just as importantly it charges super fast too meaning you'll never get caught out. The kit comes with everything you need including a really nice carrying case, perfect for travelling or everyday storage at home. In summary, this is one fantastic shaver, a great, comfortable and premium product that any man would be happy to own and use, definitely recommended.

I used to use throwaway razors and have decided that I wanted to try out one of those electrical one - I went for the latest Braun one, series 7. I have been very impressed by the close shave it provides. Worth noting that I have not felt any irritation so far and I have a pretty sensitive skin so kudos for that! It is also 100% waterproof so no need to worry about getting it wet Not to forget that you can easily take that whilst travelling since it comes with carry case.

This is a brilliant quality shaver, gets a really close shave without any irritation, so perfect for sensitive skin. It comes with a neat carry case and holds a charge that lasts longer than I can remember. It shaves remarkably quickly with no need to go back over the same area, and being waterproof means you can get the job done in the shower!

I was very happy to use one of the leading brand, however it doesn’t met my expectations. I did saw few videos before using the product. It does shaves the beard, however it take ages at the same time. There are no accessories to shape your sides or if you want a french cut. Even after using the machine, I required to use my razor to set the sides.

The initial package is good - in the box is the shaver itself, a nice case for it which will protect it in a wash bag, the charger, the trimmer attachment and a brush. The shaver charges very quickly. Just a few minutes charge is enough for me to shave. I have had one of the old Series 7 in the past but this replacement doesn't seem to perform as well as the old one unfortunately. I have to go over the same area several times to get the leftover hairs, and any longer hairs are often pulled out, rather than being shaved. It can be painful, particularly on the neck area and this isn't something I have experienced before. The shaver also seems less powerful than the older range. I think for someone who shaves every day and has hair growth that is stiff, this would be fine, for lighter haired folks like myself, I would look elsewhere.

I bought this to use as an alternative to wet shaving to avoid irritation. In general it works very well and provides a really close shave to most of the face. However, unfortunately it does not clear all hairs no matter how many angles you try - particularly on the neck area. As such I still needed to wet shave after use.

I've had this for 2 weeks now and I honestly think this is the best piece of shaving kit I've ever had. Shaving shouldn't be a pain, or a chore when you need to be smooth faced for work. This is the prime example of how to forget about shaving in a good way. Ive completely forgot the hassle it used to be. Mainly because it looks like i don't need to shave and never had and beard at all. I had a previous wet shave razor with the foam. I never really enjoyed using it and found it to be a hassle. I've also owed previous electric razors, all have been OK, never great. Missed hairs, catch any hair that too long etc. This from day one seems like a different class. Every hair under my chin goes in a different direction, no problems! Every angle and area of your face, this thing curves and bends in to get it done. Its stupidly perfect. I don't know how else you could make this better apart from have it make your breakfast as well.

It was pretty good but took several passes to get a reasonable shave and I continued to wet shaved 50% of the time. I was a hesitant about this upgrade but have no regrets having used it for 4-5 weeks. It delivers a close shave that is as good as a wet shave. It is very quick and there is absolutely no skin irritation.
