So Far So Good
3This is my second Braun Series 9. The shaver head lock failed on the first one after only 18 months and the power button fell out after 3.5 years; hence the need to purchase a replacement. The Series 9 Pro 9467cc has a redesigned shaver head lock switch so I am hopeful it will last Braun's projected 7 year lifespan - time will tell!

Smooth shaver
5I've had Japanese razors for 30 years and decided to try the 9Pro. Very happy with it. It gives a close dry shave and an even closer one with shaving gel + oil. Would have liked a cover for head but otherwise completely satisfied.

Good Razor terrible Manual
4This is the best razor I have used. It has features that I didn’t know about and of which there is no mention in the UK manual which is uninformative and useless. In fact it is a disgrace. I have since found a little more in the way of pictorial information in the ?Japanese instructions. I didn’t know initially , and the manual makes no mention of the fact that the razor has a rotating head, and I have thus figured out the meaning and use of the multi head lock which had been a complete mystery. I have learnt that by removing the cutting head, that it can be fitted back the other way round and that one way is better than the other, but I am uncertain whether it is better for long stubble or a daily close shave. No mention of this in the manual Cleaning is a mystery. No mention is made in the U.K. manual that the brush is not recommended for brushing the outside of the foil , but can be used for brushing out the inside of the head. It is evidently OK to wash the outside of the head under running water but not before using the cleaning centre, presumably to avoid diluting the alcohol in the cleaning solution. No mention is made of washing the inside of the head under running water. No clear advice is given regarding the use of the cleaning centre apart from suggesting that the cartridge is changed every eight weeks. How often should the razor be cleaned? The degree of charge remaining on the razor is clarified in the Japanese instructions but not on the UK page. Why not? No clarification is given on the UK page for the lights on the digital display that refer to cleaning the razor or replacing the foil. In shert the U.K. page is pretty well worthless, and does Braun/P&G a major disservice. Customer Care useless

Fantastic razor with a great smooth finish
5Purchased this electric razor a few weeks ago after wet shaving for many years. I did have an electric razor years ago and technology has moved on immensely in that time. The ability to cut stubble that’s up to 1 week of growth with little to no fuss and the smooth finish is a great plus. The durability of the shaving head itself will save me a fortune instead of buying disposable razor blades every other month.

Best shave!
5For someone with skin that nicks very easily I tried a number of chordless wet razors. The Braun Series 9 is definitely the best ever and gives more or less the same closeness as a normal wet shave but with no risks of cuts. Battery life is excellent and the clean and charge unit does a great job.

4I purchased this shaver two weeks ago to replace a Braun Series 9 which I have had for approximately 6 years and had malfunctioned noisily. I had a charging unit, 6 cleaning cartridges and a recently purchased power case so to cut my losses I purchased the upgrade. There is no question that it provides a quicker, closer shave and by cleaning daily with a little liquid soap under a running tap will extend the period between using the SmartCare Centre. 4 stars rather than 5 stars due to initial cost and cost of replacement shaver heads.

Absolutely BEST IN CLASS
5I first bought my Series 9 a few years ago and fell in love with it. I used it heavily, daily – it felt great in the hand, easy to use, great close shave, easy to clean and on occasion, very easy to replace the head. With all its heavy repeated use, it lasted a very long time and when it finally had to be replaced after those years – guess what, I bought another one straight away! Best in class.

5This electric shaver is top top quality. It has a real variety of great uses and functions and gives a great smooth shave. The battery life is amazing and it looks great too! I would definitely reccomend
