Take a look at our IPL range of intense pulse light epilators if you think the FaceSpa Pro may not be for you, since these can be used on your arms, legs and bikini line, not just your face. That said, the Braun FaceSpa Pro epilator range is specifically designed for facial hair removal. While some products come with beauty cases and extras, others have brush refills. Whichever you choose, expect micro-openings that will capture even the finest hairs on your face down to 0.02 mm wide or only 0.5 mm in terms of their height.
Every product in the FaceSpa Pro collection by Braun has been dermatologist tested. Therefore, even with a daily hair removal regime, you can make use of your Braun FaceSpa Pro epilator on any skin type. Avoid using it on broken or recovering skin, however. Bear in mind that our facial hair epilator range is recommended by the Skin Health Alliance.
All epilators function by removing hairs from their root. Therefore, compared to shaving, which means only removing the part of the hair that is above the skin, using a FaceSpa Pro will likely cause some minor sensation. This is not to say that any of the facial epilator products in the collection cause pain, however. Certainly, if you were to compare epilating to waxing, for instance, the experience is a great deal more comfortable. If you do experience discomfort, then stop and try again a day or two later.
The products in the Braun FaceSpa Pro range are facial epilators. Although you may be tempted to use them on other parts of your body, this is not recommended. Instead, at Braun, we would suggest using a lady razor from the Venus range or purchasing a Brain ladies trimmer so that you can deal with body hair separately. Not only will this be more hygienic but you will also have the right device for the job. Bear in mind that Braun produces epilators that will complement your choice of face epilator.
This will depend on two things – how fast your hair grows back following an epilation session and whether or not the returning hair is visible. Built for long-lasting smoothness, the Braun FaceSpa Pro epilator range can still be used to remove very short hairs just as they're coming back, unlike waxing which means having to wait for them to grow to a certain length. In fact, you could use any of the products in the range every day to exfoliate your skin and make it glow so how often you use yours will be entirely down to your personal preferences.
