Fantastic Shaver
5I can honestly say that this shaver has exceeded my expectations. It's light, charges quickly, the battery lasts a long time. I've tried the different attachments and they both work really well. I have sensitive skin so being able to use in the shower is a great bonus. Easy to clean. Precise and smooth finish. I honestly couldn't fault it. Highly recommended.

good shaver just not quite great...!!
4So I received this shaver over a week ago now and had had chance to try out its abilities in a couple of different scenarios. On unpacking the box there is no over the top packaging or equipment that would never be used, it's just straight forward shaver with sideburn trimmer, brush, charging cable and case, the instruction manual leaves a little to be desired as there are no in-depth details about using the shaver they are more pictorial. I put the charger on charge overnight to ensure that the battery is fully charged meaning that I get the full power when shaving the following morning. Ergonomically the shaver sits excellently in the hand and throughout the whole time never once did I feel like it was uncomfortable or that it would slip out of my hand. My first shave was on dry skin with 3 day stubble. Starting on the cheeks the stubble provided little resistance to the cutting power of the shaver and in no time at all had produced a close and comfortable shave with no reddening. Next came the chin and top lip which again provided little resistance, now down to the neck and this is where it loses 1 star.....on the lower neck areas were the hairs grow in different directions the shaver just didn't cope, I went over the same area around 30 times in all sorts of directions and at various pressures but it still left lofts of hairs. I had to stop and finish off with a wet razor as my neck was beginning to redden and become sore with the amount of times I was going over it. What I must say is that I have had this issue with just about every electric shaver that I have tried so it could just be that I struggle with them. after shaving I took the head off and ran it under a tap to ensure the inside was clean and not clogged up with hairs, with the shaver being waterproof this is no issue whatsoever and makes cleaning a doddle. Over the next few days I tried shaving with wet skin under the shower which again was effortless until reaching the lower neck and also tried with a little shaving foam which again was no issue at all for the shaver until I came to the neck. The sideburn trimmer is a great little piece of kit easy to attach and easy to use, cutting precisely leaving no longer hairs which is a must have when using electric shavers. After 5 shaves and a bit of playing around the battery is still showing full which is great. All in all this is a fantastic bit of kit but could be perfect if it could deal with my troublesome neck area.....

Great wet/dry shaver but needs more attachments
4I wanted a new shaver that I could use in the shower, similar to my hair clippers. I discovered the Braun Series 6 models and decided to treat myself to one of the cheaper models but still more expensive than anything I had bought before! In terms of usage, the razor gives a good, smooth and close shave whether dry or wet. It has a good battery - I haven’t had to recharge it yet in 3-4 weeks or regular usage - and easy to clean / rinse off when you’re done. My only gripe is that, at this price (c.£200), I would have liked more attachments - e.g. nose hair trimmer - as standard.

Not what I expected at all
2I wanted to give this a chance before doing a review but it just didn't get any better. The main head on this shaver was just awful. It struggled to shave even the shortest of hairs/stubble. I tried on 5-7mm hairs and no chance, I tried on 1-2mm stubble and it took going voer 5 or more times and even then it was still patchy. I've given this 2 stars only because the trimming attachment actually is pretty good, but the close shave head was very underwhelming and di not do the job at all. I'm really hoping this was a dud unit.

Great as removing stubborn hairs
5This is my first time using an electric shaver and I loved it, so easy to use and control and gets all the hard to reach hairs effortlessly, it took less time than manually shaving and done a much better job, it has 3 flexible blades, a precision trimmer and is 100% waterproof, it was a really nice feeling shaver and handles really well and fast charging

Lightweight electric shaver
3So first off I'm not an every day shaver, I'm more an every 2-3 weeks guy. So that may be why this shaver does absolutely nothing to my beard when i try and use the main shaver function. Though I also tried it on shorter hair and it still barely works, so I'm not sure how short hair needs to be for this to actually cut!? Fortunately this shaver comes with an attachment for precision trimming. This works very well, so I use this to trim my beard down to low stubble. The shaver itself is very lightweight and nice to use. Very comfortable to hold and operate. Only used it twice so not sure on battery life. Overall its disappointing for what is an expensive product from leading brand. It might work fine for an every day shave, but I would have expected more to be honest. The precision attachment saved this from being totally useless, and gives the added benefit of full body trimming.

Good comfortable shave
4This being my first experience of this type of shaver was pleasant one with up to a days growth. Beyond that I would find it started to tug and was very uncomfortable but the included precision trimmer head helped me a lot with that as it basically reverted this device to my traditional choice of shaver. Saying that you could consider this as a 2 in 1 shaver using it either as a daily shaver with the main head or using the precision trimmer to sculpt anything over that. It also comes with a 2 pin charger to charge the device which doesn’t take too long. With a display showing the charge left in the device being very helpful. This shaver is also 100% waterproof if you like me take it into the shower. Overall it is a good product but not too sure it has converted me.

Awesome Shaver
5very impressed with this product. Electric shavers are often more convenient and less messy than manual razors but sometimes they just don't give you as close of a shave. That definitely was NOT the case with this Braun shaver. It gave me a quick, comfortable, pain free shave. I have to say, it was just as close as the shaves that I get with my manual razor and that is impressive. No razor bumps, no irritation, just a smooth, clean shave. The shaver was comfortable to hold in my hand and keeps a charge for a long period of time. I don't find myself having to charge it very often at all. High quality, durable, feels solid in my hand. Definitely pleased with this product and am really hoping that it lasts a long, long time. It is hard to imagine another electric razor giving this great of a shave!

Love it !!!
5I have generally stuck with wet manual razors over the years with the occassional electric shaver thrown over the years but always reverting back to manual. That is all about to change as i am so impressed with the closeness, senstitivity and above all the convenience of this razor. It is simply brilliant. I use it with foam and often in the shower and it gives me a perfect shave with no irritation. It charges quickly and the charge holds for a long time. I can't think of any bad points it is simply brilliant.

Much better than expected
5I've kept away from dry shaving for years after trying it and finding it made my skin sore and left me feeling bitty. Things have changed! No burning sensation at all. The design has obviously been changed alot to get the cuttings away from your face too as it feels clean after shaving. The cutting heads do their job very well. Follow the contours of your face well and give a very close shave. Fully charged it on opening the box and haven't needed to charge again so far. Battery seems very good! Nice weight and ergonomic design. I hate shaving but the series 6 has made it alot easier and quicker. Very pleased!
