Great - got the nipper shaving
5I've a lad in his late teens who has looked a right mess for a while as he 'can't be bothered' shaving. But he does like a gadget. So this has smartened him up no end. He reports a smooth shave with no rashes or cuts and he's able to do some pretty precise work around his sieburns. It's quiet, and its quick (he doesn't like to hang around on these things) but it doesn't leave him with hairy patches under the nose. It's chunky but fits his hand. Great Razor
5I’ve tried the Braun Series 8 razor a few times now and have really noticed the difference. It takes a couple of times to get the hang of, but it’s given me a super smooth shave and it’s really quick and easy to use! No drag, no pulling hair. Really happy with the product. Great product
5I was skeptical at first because I'm used to a wet shave razor. However after a few times shaving I was impressed. Once i got the hang of using an electric shaver it gave a fairly close shave. I was worried using an electric shaver in water but it works really well. It's easy to clean and the battery lasts ages. I've used it 6 times and battery is still full. Definately converted. Good build quality, patchy results
3while i was very impressed with the closeness of the shave, it does shave in a somewhat patchy way - after i used it on a one day beard it was so difficult to get a smooth shave without leaving any patches - this mean that when my beard grew, for the first few days it had patches of stubble that were a lot longer than others - i used it afterwards on a 3 day beard and it was easier to get a smooth consistent shave. however, it took 10 - 15 minutes and caused skin irritation due to pressure.

Excellent piece of kit
5This product gives a lovely comfortable shave and everyone should own one. It holds the charge and had no problems with it.

Great razor
4I loved the razor as I have been looking for a long time for an electric razor that gives me a finish that is close to using a normal bladed razor. I never expect to get a smooth a shave but I was happy with the end product. "This review was collected as part of a promotion"

Ease of use and close shave, comfortable to hold
5I can honestly say this is the closest shave I have had with an electric shaver , love the adjustable floating like head which also locks , very comfortable to hold and light weight, I used to use a 3 head rotating shaving but this one is much closer and doesn't cause skin irritation, love the fact that I can pop it on the charger and is charged in an hour , great to use wet or dry, this product is much better than expected. My first close shave from an electric
4Day 1. Disaster. I soon learnt not to shave in the bathroom with the shower running even though the shaver is waterproof, I found the humidity was making my stubble hard to shave.Day 2. In the dry atmosphere of my bedroom I obtained a brilliant shave.Day 3. I won't return to disposables. It looks great and is perfectly balanced in your hand. The adjustable head makes shaving a dream. BUT it is a shame the charger doesn't fit in the case alongside the shaver (hence not a 5 star rating).

Great product and great features
5I love this shaver probably the best one I have used in the last twenty years. It has great features like sonic technology which allows the shaver to glide effortlessly across any length of stubble with no irritation. You have the option of a wet or dry shave which is a great feature. The life span of seven years will give great value for money and as it is made in Germany you know it is well built. It’s quiet and has great battery life. The slide up trimmer is another great feature
