Great epilator... ok extras
3I've been using epilators since I started shaving but have always had ones that plugged in so this was awesome to try. It doesn't take long to charge which was so great however it started running down when I was half way through my second leg. I did think it would last longer as it said 50 minutes run time. I tried to charge it but it didn't charge until it was run down completely but it doesn't say this is the case in the booklet. Battery life aside the epilator itself was great. The new design made epilating easier and quicker with its moving head and larger tweezers. The light was also a great part of the new design as i could quickly go back if i missed a hair. I do suffer from ingrown hairs so using the brushes was a nice experience in the shower, saves buying lots of products. I saw a slight improvement after a couple of uses so hoping with continued use this will banish them almost completely. I wasn't too impressed with the shaver head attachment, it seemed to take forever to actually shave just one part of my leg as I kept having to go back after it missed parts. All in all the epilator and brushes are great, all kept in a nice little bag but the shaver doesn't seem up to much in my opinion.

Amazing hair removal
5I've used epilators in the past and it's taken hours, it's been painful and left my legs looking gross. This one left me with smooth legs for a week, the exfoliating brushes work a treat and all the different heads are amazing. It didn't hurt at all and can be used in the shower. I love it so much. So worth the money.

Silk Epil9 and bikini trimmer
4When this product arrived I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of pieces in the kit. However the easy to follow instructions in the manual helped me work out what was what and get started very quickly so don't be put off. Once you use it once you will be good to go the next time. Took me a while to work out how to turn on as I kept wanting to push the button. Once I realised you need to turn was a piece of cake. Bikini Styler This was a nice size and easy to handle , I found the comb useful to lift the hairs and it was easy to angle to work on the awkward areas. Didn't try on eyebrows as I don't have very thick eyebrows or straggly hairs. Tried on upper lip and was easy to use although like any epilator it I not painless but not unbearably so. Silk epil 9 What can I say what a fantastic product, it has everything you need for a hairless body. Really easy to change the heads as required and is a good size to handle. I have some trouble with my wrists and thumbs but found it easy to hold and apply as you didn't need to use too much pressure. Using the epilator on the front of the leg was quite easy but you have to pull the skin at the back of the leg quite tightly which can be a bit awkward. I always have an ice cold flannel ready to apply after use to stop the sting. I was not tempted to try to epilate in the shower as not good at standing on one leg so prefer to sit down. It can also be difficult to hold and work the epilator with wet hands. Needed to build up a bit of courage for underarms but again found it easy to use but would suggest to use shaver first to get the hair to the correct length which I discovered too late( haha). The shaver head was easy to connect and gave a quick shave and I loved the fact you could chose the hair length so that you can shave before epilating or just use a quick fix. Shame that this cannot be used wet and dry. As for the exfoliating brush and massage head the only thing I can say is wow. You can use it with your shower gel or body scrub in the shower or bath (not to be immersed though). The brush really helped remove dry skin and left my skin feeling fantastically smooth and I felt quite invigorated after using it, certainly wakes you up in the morning. The massage pad can be used with body lotion or oils so was a great way to apply evenly. My skin felt smooth and simply glowed after using both but wouldn't recommend the exfoliating brush more then twice a week or can leave your skin feeling a bit fragile. Massager on the other hand can be used daily to apply moisturiser which I found useful as I apply every day but make sure to clean thoroughly after use. I was a bit disappointed with the charger as for such a quality product it was quite flimsy and due to the weight of the epilator took quite a while to balance so that I could charge it. The prongs appeared a little narrow for the shaver plug but may have been better with a longer lead. Despite this small set back it charged within an hour and it is really handy that the light comes on to warn you that you need to charge, but it will run for a short while after, however I wouldn't recommend doing this as the lack of power makes it painful to remove the hair. I didn't really see much benefit of the light otherwise but expect I would help when using in a dimly lit room. All in all a great buy that I would recommend to friends due to the multiple tools and the ease of use. The only reason I didn't give full 5 stars was because the charger was so flimsy.

Epilation - quick and easy operation
4I never liked to epilate due to pain time consuming. I was even reluctant to do it due to my epilator always run out of battery. This product is different. Charge up in 1hour !!! I have epilate my legs, next day I have used the brushes for quite a while, on third day I used the shaver, all on the same battery, did not charge it yet and it is still running. Epilating is great I am sensitive in therms of pain and this product is much better then epilators I have used in the past. I don't know why the massage end is not for me it is more painful therefore I prefer just a plain cup. I found difficult to shave under the swhower, had a feeling that hair due to being wet stick to the skin and are not pick up by epilator as good as when they are dry. Brushes ? Marvellous !! I hope I will never have hair grown into skin anymore. The ordinary shaver is perfect but the additional, thiny one was pulling badly - maybe I was not useing it right. I would recommend this product to someone who is scarred of epilation, it is now quick and easy with Braun! Plus lovely extras makes your skin looking better.

What an epilation!!
5Wow. What can i say. I have never used an epilator before and iam now wondering why i have left it so long. First off what a huge peice of kit. There are loads of attachments and a pouch to keep it all in which come in a lovely box. As a new user i had to read the instructions first but once i got started it was great. It has a light that help guide you and helps you to see your hair. My hair was quite short so i didnt expect it to cut them but it did. The facial cap was another one i used which was precise and painless. The exfoliation heads are an absolutley great idea to help stop ingrown hair. I used this 3 days ago and i am glad to say i have no awful ingrown hairs. Overall i would say im very happy with the Braun Silk Epil and would recommend it.

Omg I new to this way of life
5So I ve heard the horror stories how much they hurt but I was surprised its like a tickle and not to bad the more I use this the more I enjoy it . The gentle exfoliation brush visibly refines your skin for an irresistibly smooth and silky feeling. The shaving head is great for removing hair even in the most sensitive zones. The latest addition to the family: The deep massage pad for significantly better blood circulation and visibly improved skin appearance.so a big thumbs up from me

absolutely love this epilator
5I absolutely fell in love with this epilator! it comes with a great storage pouch so it’s easy to keep the extra bits that comes with it together. It is much wider and more powerful than my previous epilator so a lot more hair get plucked out at one go which makes it quicker to use and less painful as you don't have to keep going over the same spot to get all the hairs. The first time I used it on my dry skin, my skin did get a bit irritated after using it especially under my arms but after a couple of hours the spots had gone the next time I used it in the bath and my skin was not irritated by it at all. It works well both dry and wet and I have to say it is so much easier being able to use it in the bath especially good if you noticed you missed any hairs the first time around. The light on it is my most favourite part! it lights up the hairs so you can see them a lot better and makes it easier to use. I thought the exfoliation brushes were really good the deep exfoliation brush has helped free any ingrowing hair I have noticed on my legs. The trimmer is great and is easy to use. I would highly recommend this epilator and after using it would not go back to using any other.

Worth the value!
5I have previously used an epilator and remember how painful it was so I was a little worried trying this one. First time I tried the Braun wet and dry epilator I used it wet in the bath. It was easy to use and left my skin feeling so smooth! I did have red blotches on my legs as it was the first time I used it but by the morning they had disappeared. I love that it comes with a 3 in 1 trimmer, exfoliation brushes, hygiene caps as well as a little pouch to keep it all together. The Braun epilator has easy instructions and charges in no time! Pay the extra money for this epilator I highly reccomend it!

I’m amazed!
5I was quite sceptical thinking about this epilator- because why it’s described as something special. But... At the beginning I tried with very short hair- it was so surprising- all 1-2 millimetres hair has gone! The light is very helpful- you can exactly see your hair to remove and hair already removed- with roots. It much less painful as the others epilators. I love exfoliation brushes- I can feel my skin is smoother. So... love it and I’m recommend this product.

Completely worth the extra money
4I'm pretty into the swing of epilating, but I must say this is a game changer. I went for the cheapest product available to ease myself in and test the water, which was fine to start, but having stuck to this form of hair removal it's great to have a quality product. I think the exfoliating heads are a great idea as ingrown hairs notoriously go with epilating and this has definitely minimised these. The trimmer is handy and I love the fact it all fits in a bag so you can easily take it away with you if required. The charge lasts a little while and this is super helpful so you don't have to carry that if you're travelling or if you need to quickly pick this up before you run out the door. The only downside to this product is the light is on the side, which I found isn't ideal when you're trying to do the backs of your legs. None the less, it's a great product and I swear it wasn't as painful. I'm not sure this can be credited to the product, but the flexible head did seem to help. I tend to stick with the standard head, but it's good to see a range of options and there is something for every area in the box. I'll definitely be sticking to this one and recycling my cheaper epilator.
