Definite difference in regrowth!
5I have been using the Silk-Expert Pro for 5 weeks now and have to say I’m very impressed! I have been using on my legs and underarms and the regrowth has slowed down and become less in this short space of time. It is very easy to use and although it isn’t totally pain free, it Isn’t unbearable. The two different heads make it easier to do large and small areas! It normally takes me around 20 minutes to do both legs and underarms which is great as I only do it once a week!

5Having long struggled with razor rash, the awkward stages of between waxes and the horrific smell of hair remover I feel like I have re-discovered sliced bread. The Braun Silk-expert Pro 5 PL5124 does exactly as it says on the tin and then some. I was a little sceptical when I first read about the results and thought the only way to prove this was to try it for myself. I will never go back to waxing/shaving/hair removing again. The device itself is stylish, not cumbersome at all and incredibly simple to use. It has a separate smaller precision head attachment for smaller areas that are trickier to get to and the flex is long enough that its doesn't restrict you whilst using the device. It comes in a suede pouch to keep it all together. Unlike other IPL hair removers the Braun Silk-expert Pro 5 automatically detects your skin tone and hair colour to give you the correct intensity of laser to achieve optimum lasting results. I have been using the device weekly for 4 weeks now and the results speak for themselves. I have used the device on my bikini line (using the smaller head), my underarms and my legs. I could see visible results on my bikini line after the FIRST use – the hair grew back in slower and there was about a 30% reduction in hair. After two treatments under my arms you could see a noticeable difference, and after each treatment of each individual area the results just got better and better. My leg hair is quite fair but there is definitely less hair after 4 treatments. By my summer holiday I should be totally hair free in undesirable areas. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and everyone. I had been contemplating going to a salon for IPL hair removal for a while as my friend goes, but I am so glad I put it off and got the Silk-expert Pro 5. I get better results at home than she gets going to a salon.

silk expert pro 5 ipl has to be the best product
5SILK EXPERT PRO 5 IPL has to be one the best machine I have used on my skin to remove my hair permanently. I have been using the machine for past few weeks and the results are amazing. The device is very light weight and very easy to use. it has the cord attach to the machine which is very ideal as you done have to wait for it to charge and no risk of the battery dying on you. It even comes with a pouch which includes a razor and two different attach heads for the treatment. I have been using it on my legs arms and underarm. I have seen a massive different in the hair growth. the hair has gone thinner and in some parts the hair hasn't even come back. which I am so happy about. The machine itself is so easy and fast to use. the treatment doesn't even hurt, the machine has different intensity level which is ideal for different areas of the body. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone.

IPL 5 - So far so good
4I have been testing the Braun IPL 5 for close to 4 weeks now and have definitely noticed a difference in my hair growth. I have Asian Indian wheatish to fair skin tone and black hair. The chic device is lightweight and has a really long cord. It comes with two heads. I use the broader head for most areas and the smaller head for the face, hands, and underarms. It comes with a nice handy squarish bag for storing the device. It also comes with a razor to start off. The device is very easy to use. There is an instruction booklet plus details on usage available online as text and videos. There is also an app available to keep track of your treatments. It takes me around 40 minutes for me to thoroughly do the arms, legs, underarms, and face. I prefer to exfoliate through the week and shave the previous day to prep the skin for usage. Although the treatment isn’t completely pain-free but just feels like a small hot touch every time the laser pulsates – wouldn’t call that painful – anyway not anywhere close to waxing pain. Also, there are three laser setting options in case it feels too warm. Waxing by myself would take me some 2-3 hours and a lot of pain. I have certainly noticed a reduction in hair on my arms and the growth has slowed down as well. The legs and the underarms are still in progress and I hope to see some changes in the next couple of weeks. I did notice that some of the hair on my jawline came off rather easily and without pain (I was just trying to tweeze some strays out). I usually only use a razor in between treatments to avoid interfering with the hair growth cycle. Although the price point is high, I would hope it makes a good investment in the long term. The only thing to note is that one needs to be consistent in treatments to start seeing a change. I am really looking forward to the long term results of usage and being hair free (almost).

Changed my life!
5I am so happy this device has changed my hair removal routine and has made my life much easier. After the first 2 weeks of using this product I noticed the hair regrowth much thinner, I am now on week 4 and will continue to use this product and I already can see a huge difference so I am expecting that soon I will have no need to use hair removal products ever again. The device is super easy to use and the treatments themselves aren't painful. I started using the low intensity and worked my way up to the high intensity treatment. With time, your pain threshold will increase and the majority of the time you wont feel any discomfort.

Easy to use
4I have been using this product for nearly 6 weeks and found it is easy to use , particularly with it having a uk plug. The long cord means I can use it wherever their is natural light as that has an impact on the flash. I have found that it is more effective on thinner hairs and needs a longer course on thicker hairs. The downside is the product emphasises any form of hair removal is good to use prior to IPL. However I have found that only using the razor is the most effective method. The two heads means it can be used on small areas of my face which is convenient. Overall I would continue using the product and recommend it as it is a good short term hair removal device. In regards to how to long the hair removal lasts it is person specific dependent on length of hair , thickness and colour.

Great product, needs more explanation
4After using 4 times I've started to notice a marked difference in the amount of hair and how fast hair grows back on my legs and face although not underarms or chin for some reason that’s the same. I have PCOS so I wasn’t sure whether it would make a difference but it definitely has. I’m hoping with more uses it’ll get even better at reduction. It was a bit tricky to understand how to use with the app. I went on YouTube to find a better explanation. I did like how the app tracks your sessions which was really helpful for me. I have brown skin and black hair and was slightly hesitant because of laser hair removal being said not to work before but my skin tone is light enough for this machine. (I’m a caramel/toffee in foundation). I really liked how it scanned each section of your skin to check the colour and the little bar showing it was doing that. I think the instructions need to be much clearer and some more hints and tips eg do it in bright daylight or with good lighting. Overall very happy with the product.

So far I have been using the Braun IPL Pro 5 for approximately 4 weeks now and although it’s early days I am not the slightest bit disappointed- I LOVE it! Easy to use!
5Wow what a fantastic product! I can't recommend this enough I have been using this for a few weeks now and I am already seeing BIG differences. It comes in a lovely case and you can download the app to help you track treatments and also has help when using this product. This is a product I would normally go to a professional to do, but there really is no need it is easy to use and there are videos showing you how to use it. I have already recommended this to all my friends I can't sop talking about it! This is ecactly what I need leading up to summer I used this on my arms, armpits and legs. I have seen the biggest difference in my legs so far with now little or no hair growth! WHAT AN AMAZING PRODCUT WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!

Amazing.
5I was very sceptical when I got this item, but I really wanted to give it a go! I was sceptical because I have very dark brown hair and it grows incredibly quick. I wasn’t expecting much. Maybe just to slow down the growth. I have tried the silk expert once a week for 5 weeks so far and during my 3rd I had to shave my legs once. After my 4th week I didn’t shave my legs at all I’m just into my 5th week and I haven’t shaved them for since that one time during my 3rd week. I’m very happy with this product. It’s fixed my ingrown hairs & I used to get red bumps after shaving. They’re so smooth. Not too time consuming. Not anymore! I’m now about to start the rest of the places I’d like to have no hair. There was no pain during. Exceptional happy
