A bit of pain and.... A huge gain!
5Before I start with the review I would like to say that I must have tried all the hair removal methods starting from razors and creams, all the way through cold and hot wax ending on Epilators and lasers. I was very excited about trying Braun Silk-épil 9 9/980 SkinSpa SensoSmart Epilator as it sounded promising. Firstly I was slightly overwhelmed by the amount of different attachments but after reading the instruction manual, it was clear that I will definitely use them all. After fully charging it, I decided that I will give it a try. I dry epilated one leg and to be honest it did hurt, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised as it was not too bad and this is coming from a delicate person, who doesn't take the pain to well. To give myself a break I tried the trimmer. It's design is very nice and sleek, and it's narrow enough to maneuver in delicate areas without causing trouble. Later on, making most of my evening bath, I used the Epilator in the water, exfoliating my other leg before that, to hopefully avoid in growing hair. This time it wasn't as painful as before and the whole experience was a lot more pleasurable as I was more relaxed, so the option to do it this way is a big plus. Almost a week later now, I can see the hair slowly starting to grow back and to my satisfaction, there is no hair growing in on the exfoliated leg which is a deal breaker for me as this was an issue for me previously. I can see few hair that did not come through the skin on the other leg yet however, this may just be to early to judge. One of the biggest advantages of this model is that it catches short hair so that means no waiting weeks before I can use it again. As you can imagine, it's really a PLUS, especially in the summer. I also used the face exfoliating brush which is a nice bonus to an Epilator set. Once again a great product allowing my skin to stay extra smooth by using it 2,3 times a week. Ohhh and another advantage I remember about, is the red light indicator alarming you when there is to much pressure so you can adjust that and enjoy a smooth motion. Summarizing, I would recommend this product to all ladies that want long lasting results with a minimum of discomfort. It is pretty, functional, versatile and comes with a big pouch. What else to ask for!?

Finally an all-in-1 that really delivers
5Having used Braun products for years I was excited to upgrade to the Silk Epil 9, but a little dubious that all the ‘extras’ would be worth the money. I needn’t have worried, because they’re all superb! I especially love the exfoliating brushes and the convenience of the brushes, shaver, and epilator being suitable for use wet or dry. As there’s so much in the box, here are the features I loved, or lamented, with each different component: Silk Epil 9 (Main Body, Shaver, Epilator, and Exfoliation heads) Pros: -Cordless -Wet & Dry -Shaving/Epilating/Exfoliating all-in-one -Different heads are all easily interchangeable, even for someone with dexterity issues or wet hands -Everyting locks securely into place with a reassuring click -Epilator's massaging roller contours really nicely and reduces pain -Shaver foils are replaceable to extend the life of the Silk Epil 9 -Charges quickly -Motor much quieter than previous models -I love the pinky/purple details and sparkly body! It looks really expensive and has a great, ergonomic design that feels as nice to hold as it looks -Brush caps with drainage, to stop the wet brushes getting misshapen or musty Cons: -Requires a travel adapter as it comes with a 2-pin plug, which is suitable for many bathrooms but not if charging elsewhere. This is pretty standard though so not bad for my only complaint! Both the shaver and epilator give a fabulously smooth finish, helped by the exfoliating brushes. I loved how soft the exfoliating brush heads made my skin feel, and sloughing off the dead skin made my skin brighter as well as helping me achieve a closer shave. The shaver and the epilator heads each removed more hair in fewer strokes than anything I’ve used before, and they also captured much smaller hairs – probably because of the exfoliation beforehand. (The manual recommends using the exfoliating brushes a couple of days before epilating so as not to irritate the skin, but I was able to shave immediately afterwards without any problems with my sensitive skin. I used the epilator a couple of days later to remove the regrowth.) Braun Silk Epil 9 (Bikini Styler) Pros: -Supplied with an AAA battery all ready to go -Gives a neat finish with a really crisp line (for, say, a brazillian) -Closer shave than other pencil-style personal trimmers, possibly due to the front-facing head wich was much easier to use both right and left handed -Worked well on my bikini line scarring, handling all the uneven skin without issue -Lovely shape, it feels great in the hand and looks like a conventional razor -Shaver guards for longer lengths Cons: -It did pull out a few longer hairs, so might be worth trimming with the main shaver first if there’s a lot of growth, and then using the Bikini Styler to neaten things up Overall I have been really impressed by the Silk Epil 9, and love the convenience of having one piece of kit that does so much and is so versatile. The soft-feel pouch being divided into two sections - and the separate shower-proof bag for the Bikini Styler - make it easy to find all the bits and store them securely. It really seems like Braun have thought about every aspect of this product and as a result it feels, looks, and behaves like it’s great quality. I can’t recommend it highly enough, especially if you don’t like cluttering up your countertop or drawers with endless different gadgets. This one does everything you need!

BEST system ever!
5Tried it for epilation 7 days ago having tried MANY hair removal systems and always had regrowth within a few days wanted to wait before review to see if hair grew back and guess what? NO sign of any regrowth am totally impressed! I tried it on my facial hair and no sensitivy or redness - another first for me. Easy to follow clear instructions a peice of cake to use. I have used the exfoliation and skin treatment and my skin is smooth as a babys bum and looks incredible.

5This must be the best Epilators in the world. My old one used to bring tears to my eyes! It is still painfull (let's be honest!) but it is easy to use - wireless and you can use it under the shower or in the bath. Remove even very short hair and leave skin smooth. I also love the exfoliating brush - this is good as it stops in growing hairs!

5This epilator is fantastic. It feels much more powerful than any of my previous braun epilators and i get a much better finish. A full charge seems to last an hour and a half which is plenty of time for me. The exfoliator heads are a nice extra. I use the epilator on dry skin and exfoliate on wet skin for the best results. The corners of the epilator head can get difficult to clean as hair have a tendency of getting stuck there but overall i am very happy with this product.

Best Way to be hair free
5Wow is what i thought on opening the box, so many attachments and different ways to use and shave. The first thing I done was to read the instructions and see how it works and what I needed to do with each attachment. While I was reading I put the Braun Silk-épil 9 9/980 SkinSpa SensoSmart Epilator on charge. There is a big bag to put all the attachments in and it also has a divider in the bag so you can keep the Braun Silk-épil 9 9/980 SkinSpa SensoSmart Epilator in a different section. Ok after reading the instruction and making sure I was fully charged and ready to go, I decided to do a dry shave first on one leg and I have to say, No pain no gain, but wow the results were amazing. Next I decided I would use the exfoliation brush on the other leg before I epilated. This is good as it stops in growing hairs. Now to try it wet. I done my other leg and yes a bit painful but not as bad as a dry shave and the more I used it the less the pain become. Now with no pain (well a tiny bit) I decided to do my under arms and the way it glides around and gets all hairs astonished me. Being brave thought ok lets try the delicate areas and at first OMG the pain, but it does ease. The Braun Silk-épil 9 9/980 SkinSpa SensoSmart Epilator is so easy to clean and all the bits come apart for easy cleaning. When I had finished I did notice that I had some raised red spots in the areas but when I woke the next morning they had all gone and my legs felt so smooth and the best thing is no cuts from a razor and no more buying shaving foam and heads for my razor. After a couple of days my legs and arms still feel smooth. Would i go back to using a razor, No way. I love the Braun Silk-épil 9 9/980 SkinSpa SensoSmart Epilator. Another attachment is the trimmer and again fantastic results so easy to use and even come with a battery. Not used the shaver part as yet as have had no reason to use, but I think this will be a great back up if some hairs are a bit to short to catch on the epilator. The other attachment was the facial exfoliation brush and I use this 2-3 times a week and the results again are outstanding. So all round my skin feels soft and smooth. I would recommend this to all you ladies that love smooth skin for weeks and a product that covers loads of areas.

Epilator for special tasks
5A few years ago I used an epilator and to be honest I had very bad memories. But after testing Braun, I change my opinion by 360 degrees. I am very pleased that I can take care of myself painlessly and pleasantly. My husband also tested it. He found the shaving tip and used his beard to shave. As you can see, men are also satisfied.

Perfect for everything!
5The epilator is by far the most pain-free I have ever used because it is super fast and smooth so you barely feel the hair removal. What makes it even better is you can use it in the shower so it can be almost completely painless and also no mess. With all of the heads I have been able to trim, shave, epilate and exfoliate all with one machine which was super handy and it is all really easy to store in one simple little bag. The light is perfect for precision and the machine is nice and delicate enough to even use on your face.

Great Epilator even for beginners.
5I definitely think this is the best epilator that you could buy, the main piece is slightly heavy which I prefure i think the main switch is very easy to use even when slightly damp when using in the shower, I really like the senso smart I think its a great thing to have on it as sometimes im not sure if im pressing to hard but with this one the light goes from white to red so I know exactly how much pressure to apply. The design of the product is very feminine at it has glitter on the main part, the pivoting head is perfect for all curves so you do not have to try and move to much. The extra attachments you receive with it are great, the exfoliation brushes are a great little add on they help to avoid ingrown hairs and they are not to rough on the skin. The shaver attachment is great if you hair is a little to long to remove or if you just need a little touch up. It also comes with a little shaver and bikini trimmer which I love, Its perfect for sensitive areas that you mite not want to use the epilator for or if your on holiday and you do no want take the main epilator and attachments with you. Both the epilator and the trimmer are both very quiet when in use which is great for me when i use it while children are asleep and come with 2 separate bags so you can keep them both together but in separate bags.The only downside and thing everyone should be aware of before buying is that it comes with a 2 pin plug so you have to make sure you have an adapter for a uk plug . I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a great epilator.

5Amazing product leaving skin silky soft.One of the advantages is the peeling head which is a big bonus.For the first time I could use epilator in the shower which is very handy.I recommend this product
