Smooth legs
5I haven’t used an epilator before and I was really keen to give it a go. I made sure my legs were clean and dry, and didn’t shave for 5 days before using, although I did see you can use it on really short hairs too. I found pulling my skin taut and using it on the fastest setting was best for me, it was quicker and removed all the hairs. It’s not painless but it’s certainly much less painful than I was expecting, and my legs looks amazingly smooth after use. My legs were a bit red for an hour or so after using, but it says about this in the manual so I expected it and used it at night. By the morning all the redness had gone. It’s a week later now and I’ve no regrowth showing at all, which is fantastic. I’ve ditched all my razors and will be using this from now on. It’s brilliant.

Amazing
5Having never used an epilator before, I laser I was abit sceptical about it but it's so easy. I didn't find it painful and was quick and gave an excellent result, my legs was covered in red bumps afterwards so maybe don't do just before your going out. I found it so easy to do my legs and underarms (underarms hurt alittle more) and definately going to be my way of removing unwanted hair in future. The only downside was its power cord and it is relatively short. It had a built in light that helps you see where your epilating too.

Effective
4I highly recommend the epilator part, this works brilliantly on my thick dark leg hairs, works best after you've bath/showered as your skin is softer and will hurt less as it works it's magic... It took me about 4-5 goes till my legs we're fully smooth. The shaver part doesn't really do it for me unfortunately but it's a good added extra if that's what you're looking for. The main downside to this is that it's mains powered and the lead is way too short, I have to sit on the floor close to the wall socket.... The lead should definitely be at least double the length.

Multi purpose!
4I got this as an additional way of removing my leg hairs. I’ve been lasering at home for two years now and although the hairs come back slower and sparser, they still come back. I had an older version of this from over ten years ago that was louder and more painful so this one seems better already. It’s also got extra attachments for trimming and shaving which I may use on the more sensitive areas. The only downside is that it’s got a shavers plug (luckily I had one from my toothbrush charger!) which not everyone has and the lead isn’t very long.

Just what I needed
5I suffer from a condition called pcos which makes my hair grow very manly like in the places you don't need hair. I am usually shaving every morning to stay clean but after using this just the once my hair has come back patchy after a week and it's taken a week to grow which in itself is a miracle for me. Cannot wait to make this a part of my routine and to see how over time it helps maybe even reduce some of the hair.

Painless epilator
5I think this epilator and shaver is great. The epilation process was pretty painless and left my legs and bikini line smooth. After several uses I would definitely recommend this product for great hair removal.

Great epilator
5I haven’t recently tried epilating using Braun Silk-epil epilator. I haven’t previously epilated so this was rather an experience, it did a great job in removing the hair and it was easy to use. It was slightly painful but again, I’m new to this. I’m looking forward to seeing how long the results will last but so far no hair was seen after 4 days.

Removes hair well
5Really impressed with this epilator, it was easy to use, plug in, put the correct head on and chose the speed setting. The light really helps to see any light or ingrowing hairs. Although it doesnt get the ingrowing hairs out due to being under the skin it does help you see them easier. The heads can be changed really easily and click when in place. The device is comfortable to hold and not slippy or heavy. Although attached to a cable/plug it's long enough to strech and move around the get to any hard to reach places. After removing the hair it did give me small red bumps on my skin where the hair had been removed. It wasnt painful after but a little uncomfortable during but you got used to it. You can pick most hairs up with the first try, but due to the angle of hairs will need to go over the area again. It will pick up all lengths of hair so can be used any time. The 2 settings are fast and slow, I would recommend if a first time user for a slower setting. To clean the epilator, simply remove the head use the brush provided to get rid of the unwanted hair. Would recommend this product and use again.

Good, but not the best.
3This is nice, but not the best thing out there. Doesn't quite get all the hairs off and I thought it would chage but it has to be plugged into one of those shower plugs to work which is very inconvenient. I think I'd pay more for something easier to use and does a bit more.

great for hair removal
5i used this with my wife and we both loved the functions and features. it was not painful experience. i used the shaver part and was surprised my skin felt smooth after using. my wife used the epilator and she enjoyed using it, she said it was not too painful and its very convenient to use quickly before going out. i will definitely recommend.
