Amazing IPL device salon quality brought home!!
5The Braun IPL Silk Expert Pro 5 PL 5014 is such an amazing bit of kit, it has revolutionised my hair removal regime. From as earliest I can remember having very dark hair and mediteranean skin fighting the fuzz from puberty has always been an expensive and obsessive battle ... but not no more the product is a gift from gods!! At first I was anxious, and worried the intense pulse light would be excrutiating and that i would be sat arched over the toilet for hours trying to rid the 'forest' of hairs that sprout back after 5 minutes of shaving - but not that wasnt the case!! The intense pulse light was not one bit painful for the low pain thresholds amongst us id say a slight tingle at most! and I pretty much finished my whole body in less than 35 minutes on my first attempt ! result from a novice who just had to read the easy to follow instructions once - no war and peice manual here thankgod !! in the privacy of my own bedroom and without the beauty salon bills x 5. Coming on the 6 th week of using this product and let me tell you sceptics please sit down- I have only shaved my legs 3 times in the period - whereby the hir on regrowth is considerable slow and lethargic on returning and less coarse, the sensoadapt really works - i have darker areas of skin due to melanin clusters and many a holiday missed sun protection areas and the ipl picks this up contiuously through the treatment - so very impressed !! it feels like i can trust what it is doing without too much worry!! An added bonus is that it has fixed unsightly in growing hairs which i was plagued with after constant shaving - and reduced scarring due to this!!! because of this product I am looking forward to a hairless summer !! Really impressed by the product, i will not be retruning to the salon for endless painful waxing , threading shaving laser treatments- this is my firm favourite and cannot recommend enough!

It really works.
5I was slightly apprehensive about the whole concept of IPL but it really does work. I've been using it for about 7 weeks now on a weekly basis and I don't have to shave at all any more. It has 3 different strength setting. I've only used the gentil setting and it's done the job. The light is very bright so I use sun glasses when applying to my legs. There is a safety feature which means it will not light up if it is not connected to the leg and also has an automatic skin colour reconigation and uses the correct setting for the skin colour it's treating. You can use this on your legs, bikini line, arms, and even on your face (which I haven't used) I really would recommend this great piece of kit to anybody not having to shave on a daily basis feels amazing. Soft and smooth legs with minimal effort.

Excellent product
5I was a bit skeptic about using such a product as I suffer with quite fast hair regrowth. Honestly I can see the results already within 4 weeks! It’s such an easy thing to use and the app that you can download on phone has been a life saver to remind me of when I need to do a treatment. I’m yet to see the full result on my legs but under arms hair is visibly reducing along with other problematic areas. Thank you Braun for inventing this, I shall be recommending it to everyone!

Brilliant long term
5I’m three weeks in and already seeing results! Smaller areas such as underarm where “stamping technique” was used I can see a massive improvement 90% hair reduction from the start. For larger areas arms/ legs used the “gliding technique” Which was a tad tricker to get the hang of as the speed of the light pulses and slowly moving along but after second use was perfect, you just need to keep an eye on the light indicators at each side so if the connection is lost and can’t detect skin will show red rather than white and at the intensity. But overall really simple to use. Again with awkward areas ankle/knee just use the stamping technique. I’ve used it once a week on legs, arms and underarm and I’m really pleased with the results so far!

Simple, effective and yields fast results!
5I was at the stage of despair when I found this product, I'd had issues with facial hair- my chin in particular, that hadn't gone away with the popular methods of waxing, plucking and using facial hair removal cream. I'm olive skinned and my facial hair is black and thick so super obvious.. I had decided that the only option I had left after this was to spend potentially thousands of pounds on laser hair removal but I'm so glad this came along! Not only is the design of the product sleek and stylish, it's easy to use and comes with a compact discreet case, nobody need know that while you're away you have an upcoming IPL session! It honestly takes me about 5-10 minutes per session which I've been doing now for just over 4 weeks. By week 2 I got worried as there seemed to be no change and for someone who likes instant results I got concerned- I was desperate to go back to plucking but it had already ruined my skin and damaged my self confidence that I made myself persevere, and I'm glad I did. By week 3 the hairs started falling out and the patch on my chin became patchy growth and less thick- I actually couldn't believe it. After 6 years of damaging my skin with creams and plucking I was free! The actual IPL doesn't hurt and has a handy little sensor that tells you before you go to the effort of trying to use the light if your skin is correctly connected, and If the intensity is too much you can manually turn it down until you build up your own level of tolerance towards it. The device itself is a plugged in device which is reassuring as you don't want to keep swapping batteries every time and the cable is very long- so don't worry about not being able to reach your legs or stretch up to your face as there's plenty of room. I've also tried this device on my underarms and it's made the hair really fine and growing back in patches- it's unbelievable how much it's changed over four weeks and not to mention what it's done for my confidence, I'm no longer constantly checking my face for bumps or stubble and checking for ingrown hairs because there aren't any! This product has changed my life, my mum has similar issues so I'm going to be recommending this to her next! It's given me so much more than hair reduction, it's given me that self esteem boost I'd been praying for for years! Thanks Braun!

Packaged beautifully
5Brain ipl treatment - I received this kit to test out!! I have now been using it for 3 weeks! I have very dark hair so I didn’t have much faith in this at first plus I’ve only ever shaved or waxed. Been to nervous to test our LASER TREATMENT!! well this is something I’ve never experienced before! It is the ultimate pain free hair removal device beauty MUST HAVE!! It has a sensitivity button so you can slide to adjust to your skin. I used to have to shave every other day my hair grows that quick but after 3 weeks of using this I can notice the difference already the hair isn’t growing back as quick as it used to and some places it isn’t growing back at all. The laser doesn’t give of any sort of sting or tingle. And it’s so easy to use. The instructions are very detailed. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting permanent hair removal. Also with having this you can use it on multiple areas of the body not just your legs. I love this product and will never change it. It defiantly is a beauty MUST HAVE! And don’t worry men you can use this aswell it’s not just a product for women :)

It has given me back my self esteem
5Let me start by saying I have PCOS which means that I have more hair than most women and it’s darker and thicker too, all over my face and body. I was given this product to try as a member of Savvy circle although I was saving for one anyway. This is the safest and fastest IPL device on the market for women, and men too.I couldn’t wait for my product to arrive and when it did I unpacked it right away, it comes in a lovely bag and contains the I’ll itself, a Venus smoothest razor. You still have to shave before using it but don’t use any products such as moisturiser or deodorant. I started using it at the extra gentle setting just to get used to it. I have the perfect compatibility meaning I have fair skin and dark hair. It fit perfectly in my hand when doing most of the areas however was quick tricky reaching the button when doing my underarms. I didn’t feel a thing with the first two settings and the last setting feels, to me like an elastic band pinging of me. The stamp method takes a little longer and the glide method is so quick for doing legs and thighs. I have used this weekly with the app to keep track and remind me, and to say I am amazed is an understatement. Having PCOS had left me with no confidence as I had hair on my face I had to shave twice a day and I was always scared of getting near anyone incase they noticed the stubble or red razor bumps. While it hasn’t cleared up totally there are far fewer hairs already after 4 weeks and my arms and underarms are almost completely bald. I’ve noticed that instead of shaving my legs every day I only need to do it every 2 or 3 days. Everyone who knows me has remarked on the change on me I have become a different person thanks to this machine, it has given me my life back. I will need to keep doing this and topping up every so often as with PCOS my hormones will mean that the hair will come back but now I have the Braun IPL I have my life back

Won't be long until I stop buying razors!
5I have quite dark hair and pale skin... Have been using for 4 weeks and there is a massive change already! Have been using it once a week on my legs, arms, under arms and bikini line. I'm at the point now where i can see hairs have not grown back! I love it! Its so convenient to do, easy to use. There is some bits it hurts a bit. But mostly it is not uncomfortable. The overall look of it is nice and modern and the case is nice, and it's easy to hold. Here's some constructive criticism.. Only because I'm picky, hence why I still give 5 stars, is that its very bright and kind of think for the price a pair of little goggles or something could have been thrown in (not too dissimilar to the ones in tanning shop) but I remedied that with sunglasses. And also a lint free cloth could have been chucked in too for cleaning, but again thats just me being picky. But overall an amazing home beauty product. It works for me very well and have recommended this to friends and my mum.

Life changer
5I've been shaving since I was around 14. And we all know how tiresome it is. It's time consuming, uncomfortable at times and just incredibly boring! The Braun PL5014 is life changing. It's quick, painless and feels so high tech that it's an absolute joy to use. After less than 4 weeks I noticed a definite difference in my hair growth, and after 4 weeks the sky is the limit. The reduction has been fantastic, and I can't wait to see the results in the future!
