This is a game changer
4I was slightly dubious when I read the claims and thought "yeah, ok, whatever!" I let my hair grow out as I was waiting on receiving the item for free to test. So there I am sat, legs that resemble something like a Yeti and started to read the manual. Remove the hair with the razor enclosed or your normal method. Oh brilliant! That was my first mistake then. I proceeded to follow the instructions and found it really easy to use. It's not heavy and it's really fast. I have used devices similar to this in the past and you had to individually do each hair. What a nightmare that was. This is far superior technology now and I found that, with a weekly top up, I have noticed a great reduction in hair growth. I am about 4 weeks in now and it's taken this long to notice that difference. I look forward to the continued results. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars for value is that it is very expensive but then you do need to weigh up if the time saved of not constantly having to remove your hair is worth that?

Very easy to use it
5I tried the Silk Expert pro 5 PL5014, very good quality product, very easy to handle and it’s very fast, I have PCOS and I have a lot of hair on my body, after 4 weeks can’t believe my eyes, so much improvement, my hair is not growing that fast like before and very much reduced the quantity of hair from my legs ,arms and face, first time using this kind of product and I’m very happy with it, I will use it every week until my hair will be gone 🙂

MUST HAVE for hair removal!
5Ever since I was young, I have struggled with thicker than average hair on my body and face. It always made me feel conscious so I shaved it off as soon as I was old enough to, which always irritated my skin. I knew at some point I wanted some more permanent hair removal but was unsure of what method would be best. However using the Braun Silk expert 5 has changed my life. In terms of appearance, it arrives in an amazing quality pouch which looks relatively small but holds all the essentials easily. It also arrived with a gilette razor so you can get started straight away. The machine itself has a sleek white and rose gold finish. It is the perfect size and weight to hold in your hand and use with ease. The Silk expert 5 has 10 intensity settings and 3 modes of comfort – normal, gentle and extra gentle. I have owned the IPL machine for 4-5 weeks and carried out 4 treatments in this time. It is advised to use the app which can let you know when to carry out your treatment. I expected it to be painful however I was pleasantly surprised. Even on the higher mode, you can feel the warmth but no pain whatsoever! The fast IPL system means it is so easy to glide whilst carrying out the treatment. It took me just a few minutes to carry out the treatment on both legs. I found that the advantages for me were:- - Super quick to use - Lightweight and easy to hold - Extremely effective results - Long lasting results - Almost pain free - Able to carry out treatments in comfort of my own home depending on my own availability I would definitely recommend this IPL machine as it had changed my life. However the only disadvantage is that as it does not arrive with the smaller precision head (which is compatible), it would be amazing to be able to purchase this for use on smaller areas. The standard head is amazing for use all over the body. However smaller places like the upper lip were a bit difficult to treat, It still works but I found I had missed certain small sections. Overall, I am extremely impressed and I am so glad I do not have to suffer through the pain of waxing or the discomfort of shaving ever again. I would like to clarify that I received this product in exchange for an honest and an unbiased review. This has in no way impacted the amazing results I have seen!

Easy-user friendly, excellent results
5I am very impressed by this IPL. This is a lot smaller and lighter than my other devices, and a bit more user friendly. It has an app where you can follow your treatments which is fantastic because it gives you reminders of when to do your next one, which has been great. The package is impressive, i like the fact that it comes with a razor to get you started, plus a great sturdy pouch to keep everything in. The product also comes with a 2-3 pin continental/uk plug, thank you Braun, This means that not only could i use it straight away, i can also take it on holiday with me. So in use. It’s very easy to use, I love how it reads the skin and just zap away the unwanted hair. Best used in sunlight. I also liked how it can be used on the lower face areas just need to practice more, especially upper lip area. I have definitely noticed the difference especially on my arms have no hairs, will keep using it saves so much time in the long run Overall i am extremely impressed with this, it does show visible results, but you do have to do it every 2 weeks to maintain it and stop the hair growing back.

Great results!
5Ive used the braun ipl for 4 weeks and the results are amazing! Ive noticed that the there are deduction of hair growth in my underarm, legs and upperlips. I love that i dont have facial hair anymore since its annoys me the most. There is a tiny hair growth in a span of time in my underarm but since ive only used it for 4 weeks i think with the continues use then it will vanish in no time. The ipl itself is handy and easy to use. Just plug and click. Easy to store as well since it comes with a cute little bag where its protected too. Small enough that it fits on my bedside table. Overall, the experience is great and visible!

First time with IPL
5First of all, I've never tried IPL before. Always wanted to but I was a bit nervous about it. After many friends encouraged me I gave it a try and I wish I had done earlier. I've been using this for over 4 weeks now on my legs, arms and underarms following the recommended treatments. The hair growth has clearly slowed down. I'm not expecting the miracles of being hair free forever but the results are clearly visible. And the more you do it, the easier and faster it gets. I'm used to waxing, so don't find this machine painful at all, even on highest setting. The machine design is great, comfortable on the hand, not heavy or bulky. I actually like the fact is corded, at least you know you'll never run out of battery. Overall, really pleased with the product and absolutely worth the money. Only regret is I should have bought it earlier!

Goodbye razors
5This is the first time that I have tried a hair remover like this before. I have either shaved or used an epilator. On using this I can't see myself using anything but this from now on. I have even had family and friends round to try it out. I got the one with only the large area treatment and to be honest I found it hard at times even on my legs as the 2 sides couldn't detect skin touching so I had to do places using it sidewards. I think all should come with the smaller head too. But apart from that I can't say anything bad about this product and even though it is a bit expensive it is a product that actually works and I would recommend it to anyone.

Highly recommended
5I am 29..a breastfeeding mom(its safe) with fair color and dark thick hairs covering face and overall body..not just legs and hands..even on feets..i knew even i spend everything on my ipl treatment i wont be able to satisfy from all the areas of my body covering hairs..so few years ago just after 5 treatment i gave up..because it was expensive..then i got this product..then i realized its exactly what i needed..it looks quiet stylish product just by looks..easy grip..one time investment but WHAT A GREAT RESULT..just after 3rd time use i realized my hairs growth became veryyy slow..and they were not even growing from all the areas where they used to grow..its been one week since i shaved..and i dont need to shave now..otherwise i was such a hairy person who needed shave every other day..its very easy to use..hardly takes 15 min to do my legs arms face under arms tummy...as i said my hairs are thick and dark color so might absorb more light thats why i need to set EXTRA GENTLE mode where hairs are thick...i cannot explain how much my life has become easy..wax made loads of mess and very time consuming..and shaving had temporary result...thanks to braun for such product which is very conveinent to use and has great result

Works like a dream
5I absolutely love my silk expert pro 5. I am on the fifth week of owning it and have never gone so long between shaves. My legs are smooth and hair free it has however taken a little longer to work well with my under arm hair. I wish I had tried one earlier as it would have saved me a lot of hassle. It is easy to use and to follow the instructions which are very clear. The lead is lovely and long and the storage case is perfect.

Fantastic features
5On trying the braun IPL It has a large enough treatment head to do really big areas like legs and underarms and is light and comfortable to hold despite its relatively large size. It’s the first IPL system I’ve used where the machine sets the treatment level for you based on individual readings of your skin tone - all the other machines require you to input the appropriate level yourself. The output continually adjusts as you go round your body, with bars lightening up on the unit to indicate the power level the machine has selected for you.If you hold the button down continually and move the treatment head over your skin, the Braun will fire repeatedly without you having to press and release over and over again,, which makes any treatment extremely fast. You also don’t need to use cooling gel, unlike some other models. My results after 4 weeks is amazing a definite must have for any beauty gurus looking at trying new hair removal products. 5 stars from me.
