Braun IPL Silk Expert Pro 5 PL5149

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive (coupon, discount, free sample, sweepstakes, contest with raffle etc).] First thing I noticed was how good quality the device was and also the handy case it comes with to keep all items in safe and ready at hand when ever needed! In the box comes the silk expert pro 5 device, 2 precision heads for different areas of the body, mains cord, a mini facial hair remover, a cleaning brush, a venus swirl razor and of course the high quality zip up braun case which fits everything in neatly and safely. I started by complely shaving all areas with the razor eg legs, armpits and I used the mini facial hair remover on my face/chin. The Braun silk expert pro 5 is very simple to use and works by simple connecting the cable to the device, plugging it in and switching it on, the device heats up slightly anx the led lights will light up, once placed on the skin the device reads my skin tone and selects the appropriate light intensity which I particularly like as I wouldn't know which one to choose, however this can be altered by pressing the plus or minus symbols, lights will show when in the correct position and each press of the button gives a flash and I just to the next area, once I got used to it I did my legs in under 10 mins, first initial flash gave a slight shock as I didn't know what to expect but after that I couldn't feel it apart from the slight heat on my skin, I personally don't find it painful at all, I use the smaller attachment on my face. I havnt shaved for 2 weeks which is a miracle for me as I normally shave my legs during every shower, I've got a slight stubble now which I can feel but still can't see it! At the moment I'm using my braun silk expert pro 5 once a week and will do so for about 4-6 weeks until I can't feel the stubble at all then I'll reduce to about once every 3-4 weeks! My face stubble still grows quicker than my legs so think that will need some extra work. I'm loving not having to shave so often and can't wait to see the results in a few months! I would recommend the braun expert pro 5 to all my friends as its already changed my life for the better.

Didn’t really have expectations as I’ve only ever shaved before but after 4 weeks I can’t believe how well this has worked on my legs. I do have very fine hair which maybe helps. Really easy to use with clear instructions which even a novice like me could master. Looks great and comes with a case for travelling. Would highly recommend investing in this product.

After using this for several weeks I can honestly say it’s amazing and I’m disappointed I didn’t invest in one earlier. It’s so easy to use and fast aswell. I have noticed visible hair reduction in the areas i have used it on. I’m excited to see the results in the coming weeks. It come’s with a bag to store everything in and a small shaver and razor which is a bonus. I have already recommended this to my friends and family and will continue to do so as i’m so impressed with it.

I am pale with dark hair, so it works for me brilliantly. I have noticed a reduction in hair growth and am hopeful that this will continue with more use. It is painless and so easy to use. I was a bit apprehensive to begin but once I used it, realised how easy it is. Definitely recommend!

I was initially sceptical but it does seem to be working already and i am looking forward to seeing the results after a few weeks of frequently using it. I don't have particularly dark hairs but do have to shave my armpits ans bikini line regularly in the warm summer months, so I am really hoping this will save me lots of time and razor cuts in future!

As I always liked Braun products this was a great choice. I love the soft pouch it comes in. It's stylish with the golden emblem and velvety texture inside. You can take inside separating bits out so it becomes one big bag. The IPL was easy to use. I mainly used the Standard (gold coloured) head for my legs and armpits. The instructions are very clear, so it was easy to follow. I have been using this for some weeks now and so far it's good. The Gillette shaver which comes in this has a nice design and is compatible the usual Gillette Venus heads. Included was also a small hair removal device for the face. It's small and compact so it's easy to take with you on holiday or nights out. It comes with a little 2 sided brush and even has a light while in use

Slightly uncomfortable to use but only lasts a few seconds. Love all the accessories that are included. Highly recommend

Firstly I used the facial trimmer that came with the Pro 5. I have tried many different facial hair removal products in the past from hair removal cream, to face razors and even waxed. I can honestly say this is the fastest and most painless experience I have ever had. It’s brilliant! Definitely replaced all my current gadgets. I have been using the Pro 5 for 3 weeks now and can definitely notice the reduction in hair growth. My hair is thinner, it grows back a lot slowly now and each week that goes by it gets less and less, I’m so excited to see what the results will be in a another 3 weeks. I have used a similar product from a well known brand before however I can certainly say this product is soooo much easier to use. It’s flashes of light go off so quickly, which means I don’t have to spend hours waiting and moving the light around each area. It is pain free and comfortable to use in hands, without any arm ache. I love the additional attachments and the skin sensor is brilliant. No need to change any programs on it. It’s a yes from me!

Its my new favourite product. My hairs are rather dark so it's always been a issue for me but this has changed my life for the better . Love it
