How do I change the attachments supplied with my Braun 9-in-1 beard trimmer and hair trimmer MGK5280?
The two beard combs that your Braun MGK5280 comes with simply clip over the main cutting attachment with lifetime sharp blades and allow you to use your Braun all-in-one trimmer as a set of beard trimmers, maintaining just the length of facial hair that suits you. Likewise, just clip the head combs in place over the trimmer's head when using the Braun 9-in-1 MGK5280 in hair clipper mode. Note that you have to remove the trimmer head to connect the ear and nose trimmer attachment. This will remove with an upward force applied with your thumb. No special tooling is required to turn the all-in-one trimmer into a nose ear trimmer. The detail trimmer attachment and the body groomer attachment connect and disconnect by hand in just the same way that the ear and nose trimmer attachment does.
How long is the battery of the Braun all-in-one trimmer MGK5280 expected to last?
The Li-Ion+ battery that the Braun 9-in-1 MGK5280 comes supplied with will offer up to 100 minutes of trimming capacity when fully charged. Like many of the all-in-one trimmer 5 Series, you can charge your Braun MGK5280 up rapidly. How do I clean my Braun 9-in-1 MGK5280 trimmer with seven attachments?
The Braun all-in-one trimmer MGK5280 is washable in running water. Therefore, you can use it in the shower or rinse it in your hand basin to keep it free from clipped hairs as you use it. Not all of our all-in-one trimmers have this level of functionality which makes keeping the Braun MGK5280 clean while in use so straightforward. After use, remove any combs that have been fitted and rinse them in water. Rinse the trimmer head, also. Allow everything to dry and place the Braun all-in-one trimmer 5 in the supplied soft bag along with all the accessories for safekeeping until your next trim.
Is my Braun 9-in-1 beard trimmer and hair trimmer MGK5280 suitable for wet shaving?
The all-in-one beard and body trimmer is designed for dry use only. However, the supplied Gillette Fusion5 ProGlide razor is designed for clean, wet shaving. Trim your facial hair and then apply a suitable foam or gel to begin your wet shave. Note that further shaving accessories are available from Braun, too.
Which body parts can I use my Braun MGK5280 on?
Like our hybrid trimmers, the Braun all-in-one trimmer MGK5280 is designed for trimming and styling not only on facial and head hair but on the body, as well. Use the body groomer attachment if you will be trimming your body hair. This is suitable for trimming your back, chest, underarms and everywhere down to your groin area.

I looked through a lot of trimmers and this one offered everything I need for a great price. I bought it solely for body and nose/ears trimming. I decided to try it a few hours after it arrived. After a fast charge, I put the body prefix and tried shaving my armpits. For my surprise it cut me after a few seconds of usage. There weren't more cuts there so I thought it was my mistake. Then I moved to my groin area. In the span of 2 min, the trimmer cut me at least 5 times. Bloody and painful.

I had this for a while now and the (variable length) combs don't give an even cut so as good as the battery life, quick recharge and shaver all are I am now looking for a replacement.

I am normally quite reluctant to try out a new product like this and take pride in my grooming and am glad to say that this product gives the same result that a barber gives you. I find the precision of the trim lasts between 5-7 days. Changing of the clips and cleaning the trimmer itself is very easy. This all in one trimer is a great versatile combination. Included in this set is everything you need from clean shaving to full length beard. Super easy to change heads and guards for shaping and timing you have everything you need. The clippers themselves are sharp and give a great finish without and hair pulling out any other problems associated with other hair clippers. Having used these for several days I'm still on my first charge showing that the battery has a good amount of life.

The all-in-one trimmer is a great tool that allows reaching a new level of style that just a barber will give you. Usually, I combine more than one tool using different lenghts for different parts of the beard. Switching between all the little heads is very easy and in just 10 minutes I can have a neat style that can last for an entire week. Initially very impressed with the versatility of the product. Nice surprise in receiving the Gillette Fusion 5 Razor Blade. The shaver is lightweight, stylish and easy to hold. Does feel cheap however when compared to rival brands. I am thoroughly impressed with this kit! It literally covers all angles, which makes maintaining body hair very easy. I usually maintain a light stubble, but sometimes let it grow out to a beard which is maintained and occasionally shaven smooth, so this is just perfect. The grade 1/2 tools are the right length for short stubble, the larger sized attachments allow me to grow a beard and keep it the right length, and the close-shave attachment allows me to keep the edges well trimmed and smooth

After using many beard trimmers both individual and all in ones, this is very nice to use and works very well. It cuts the hair really well without risk of nicking yourself. Works smoothly and effortlessly, no need to keep going over the same patch of beard/hair. all the attachments have their own function and they are interchangeable seamlessly.
