The BT7940 Braun hair and beard trimmer for men is easy to operate. All you need to do is to push the power button down for the lifetime sharp metal blades to begin trimming. Before you do so, set the precision wheel to one of the 39 different length settings so you can trim your hair to the exact length you prefer. How do I clean my Braun BT7940 Series 7 Beard Trimmer?

Like many of our other beard trimmers, the BT7940 is washable so you can rinse the head - and any combs you may have used - after use to keep it clean. Allow your men's beard trimmer to dry and then use the supplied cleaning brush to get rid of any hairs that may remain. How do I change attachments in my BT7940 Braun Beard Trimmer 7?

There are two types of attachments with the BT7940 men's beard trimmer. The first are combs. These simply clip over the top of the cordless beard trimmer for longer beard trims or hair clipping. When you want to remove either the precision beard or hair comb, you just unclip them. The other type of attachment consists of the detail trimmer and the mini foil shaver attachment. To attach one, you must remove the main Braun Series 7 beard trimmer head. The mini foil shaver attachment allows you to use your Braun beard trimmer as an electric shaver, while the other is used for detailed beard styling, just like a hybrid trimmer, for example.

Can I use my BT7940 Braun beard trimmer for men in the shower?

Although this product from our Series 7 range of beard trimmers is washable, it is not fully waterproof. Only place the trimmer's head or combs into water to rinse cut hairs off. Avoid taking your BT7940 into the shower or bath where it might become more fully submerged. Please note that this device is designed for scalp and facial hair trimming only. For other parts of the body, consider a body groomer or one of our all-in-one trimmers instead. The included Fusion5 razor can be used for shaving in the shower, if wanted.
