How do I epilate with my Braun Silk-épil 5 5-620 epilator for women?
Like many epilators made by Braun, the 5-620 Silk-épil 5 model is best used after you have exfoliated. Take your time and make use of shaving gel or foam, especially when epilating longer hairs, so your epilator will glide over your skin. Set the preferred speed for you and simply press the power button to begin. Epilate with long, smooth strokes. Read our epilation guide for step-by-step advice. Note that Braun's range of FaceSpa Pro products is designed for facial hair epilation while the Braun Silk-épil 5 5-620 is primarily designed for leg, under-arm and body hair.
How do you change the attachments the Braun Epilator Silk-épil Series 5 5-620 comes with?
The shaver head and the epilator head come free from the handle of the Braun Silk-épil 5 when you push down on the button at the back of the unit. This means you can switch between them quite easily. Note that the Braun Silk-épil 5 5-620 wet & dry epilator - white & pink - also comes with two caps. The skin contact cap clips over the top of the Braun epilator head while the trimmer cap goes over the shaver head. Both caps can be locked into place using the relevant slider control on the head.
How do I maintain my Braun Silk-épil 5 5-620?
The Braun Silk-épil 5 5-620 is designed to be simple to maintain whatever type of female hair removal regime you prefer. If you have used the trimmer cap when the shaver head has been fitted or the skin contact cap when the epilator head has been in use, remove them. Rinse the caps in clean water to remove any hairs that may have accumulated on them. Next, wash the head you have been using while it is fitted to the main body of your Braun Silk-épil 5 epilator in clean water. Once they've dried out, you can use the supplied cleaning brush for any final hairs that may remain. Store your Braun Epilator Silk-épil 5 in its pouch for safekeeping.

Ouch
Oh my, I was really looking forward to trying this out as I have tried all methods of removing body hair and hate them all, so always resort back to shaving. So when receiving this I was very excited.I tried all the various heads that came with it and have to say I am not impressed. The beginner head was useless and the actual epilator was so painful and did not actually do a very good job of removing my hairs.As usual I have had to resort back to shaving again as this really did not cut it.

Perfect for a first time user!
This review was collected as part of a promotion. That said, I have really enjoyed using this. I’m not a massive fan of pain, so was a little apprehensive about using this. I need not have worried, as the massage attachment for the epilator really did assist in lessening the pain factor. I used this on my legs and was happy with the results. I will use this again and I am also pleased that this can be used in the shower or bath. A great product!

Surprisingly good!!!
Love it!!! Was worried it would hurt my legs, but it didn’t. I hate shaving my legs, so to trial this was a bonus. Have to say, I’m converted. Easy to use, not painful apart from the first couple of minutes, does a fabulous job and has left my legs feeling smooth

Great multi use hair remover tool
I found this device easy to use and understand in the instructions. It has different attachments, one of which is a shaver so it makes it a versatile tool for hair removal as you can shave as well as epilate if required. It’s great that the device can be used wet or dry which will allow for use in the shower. It curves well on areas like the knee so I wasn’t scared I would hurt myself. Compact and efficient
I was really impressed with this epilator, I have never used one before so i decided to shave one leg and epilate the other, the one i shaved wasnt as smooth and grew back a lot quicker. I will definitely carry on with the epilator. This review was collected as part of a promotion.

Better than I expected
This was my first time using an epilator and I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth and easy it was to use. The instruction booklet is very clear and helpful so making the process easy from the start. You do feel the hairs being pulled out but it's more like a tingle than it being painful and you notice it more on the bony areas like your ankles. I didn't get a completely smooth hair removal but it was good enough. This review was collected as part of a promotion.

Great product quick results
Really impressed by this product. I was quite nervous about using in case it was to painful but it was fine. I used this on my arms,legs, underarms and face. I have to say the legs hurt the most which surprised me but after afew seconds it became alot easier to manage. The results are really good and lasted longer than using a razor. I also tried the trimmer head while in the shower and this worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend.: "This review was collected as part of a promotion".

This product is exactly what I needed after trying epilators that never worked for me and gave me a lot of pain, after I heard I was getting this epilator I let my hair grow abut to test how good it is and my god it’s amazing it doesn’t hurt whatsoever and you can also use it wet or dry which in no doubt is an advantage, I will 100 percent be telling and already have told some about this epilator!x This review was collected as part of a promotion x

As a beginner this was great
I loved the packaging. When I opened it up, I found a bewildering array of different heads and attachments. The instructions were complicated and took some time to work out how to remove and attach the different heads.I would sincerely recommend looking at how hair dye instructions with real people to show the best way to shave legs/arms/bikini line.Using the product was easy, and I was surprised just how good the epilator and shaver were, and how painless it was. The results are fantastic.

Slow but steady
This review was collected as part of a promotion.I have found this epilator easy to use and no way near as painful as I feared. I am pleased with the results as regrowth seems slower and thinner than when I shave. I am not sure if epilating is for me though as it takes such a long time to do. You need to run the epilator over the same area a lot, 4-5 times at least, to even catch 90% of the hairs. I was testing this with reasonable growth as well. At least I can use the shaver!
