Braun IPL Silk-expert Pro 5 PL5137

I was dreaming to use the IPL as I thought it would save me time and will leave my skin smooth for a while. My husband bought Me Silk expert pro 5 as a birthday gift and I started using it since January. First of all it doesn’t save your time. Every week you need to shave and then apply IPL on legs, underarms and bikini which takes around 20 minutes (not 5 for both legs as it is said ) (then add another time for shaving). But I have been religiously doing it thinking of the results. Now it has been almost 6 months, and result didn’t come and I still waste 30 mins a week for this, while before I was spending 10 mins once in 2/3 weeks with regular epilator. There has been a reduction in hair growth, however around 50-60% hair is still at place. And in the last month or 2 I didn’t see any progress. And they predict that in 12 weeks most of the hair disappear- nonsense!!!!! I have pale skin and my hair is dark brown on the underarms and bikini and a bit lighter on the legs, but still not fair.  Furthermore when i use the device it gets very hot and hurts, and even leaves tiny burns.it hurts and smells of burnt hair, and is painful! I don’t know if anything’s  wrong with my IPL or they all tend to get that hot, but so far only cons, no pros compared to regular epilators. Very disappointed and feel like my husband has waisted lots of money for the gift, which appeared to be useless. This is exactly the same model I used, with a white and gold bag and purple razor

[This review is part of a promotion]Absolutely amazing. I managed to remove all my armpit hair. Now I only use it once per 6 weeks. You can't be lazy if you want it to work. First month I use it a few times per week, more then was recommended but it worked perfectly for me. I also keep it in my night table, always ready to use. It's not easy and with immediate effect but definitely worth it and work well. You still need to do it from time to time but skin looks amazing. Good luck to all new buyers. Definitely recommend.

[This review is part of a promotion]I bought the silk expert Pro expecting it to be a permanent reduction to hair growth but it is not permanent, all the hairs grow back! I did it for over 3 months on my legs, underarm and bikini line and honestly had no more hair. It worked brilliantly and I was so happy I started doing overlip as well. I went out of the country for 1.5 month and did not take the machine with me, hoping I would just get a few hairs. By the end of the trip all of the hairs had grow back. So disappointed

It’s results meant that I would hardly need to shave at all since I keep on top of my treatments but due to hormones I am hairy again due to pregnancy! Can not use it at the moment as there is not enough research for use during pregnancy but Iam excited to use it again when I can. It stoped 95% of my hair growth and I miss it so much! I started using this 3 months ago and at first I thought it was fab. I could feel it working, little elastic bands pinging onto my underarms is how it felt. However, after doing exactly aas the instructions said for 2 months I decided to see what would happen if I stopped shaving as, by then, it should have worked. Low and behold, dark brown hairs began to grow again! So I tried again for another month and I'm still having the hair regrowth.

After maximum 4 weeks of using it I was totally hairfree. It does not take more than a month and I had to use it weekly so the results are unbelievable. The app that can be downloaded on smart phones is vital as it is very easy to keep track and follow instructions so you do not miss a treatment. The attached cord is long enough so it can be easily used while plugged far from a mirror. I also used it for my chin and upper lip and the attachment head is a god sent. Overall I am over the moon with my Silk-expert Pro 5 PL5124 IPL and I cannot imagine my future life without it. I am so excited and feel very confident to show my hairless skin this summer.

I tried the Pro 5 and started on my underarms first, just to see how easy it would be, before moving to a larger area. It was a very easy process to follow, and I have noticed my hair growth is taking a longer amount of time and the thickness of the hair has reduced - I usually have very thick and dark regrowth! Very impressed, I will now move on to my legs hoping for same results!

Would I recommend this product, yes I would! The Braun Silk Expert Pro 5 comes in a beautiful little carry case and includes a Venus razor. I really wanted to use this as I’m tired of the constant shaving and being a mum of a young toddler let’s face it, it’s often hard to find the time to shave. I’ve been using the Braun Silk Expert Pro 5 PL5124 for just over 4 weeks now and and I’m so impressed. I’ve used it on my arms, armpits, legs and bikini line. The reduction in hair growth is much better than I expected, my underarms in particular are brilliant. It’s easy and very quick to use and very cleverly adapts to your skin tone. I also wanted to add that it’s painless. My best friend has gone to a salon in Leeds for years receiving this treatment and on a recent spa day we were comparing our results. She could not believe I was getting the exact same results at home with this. All in all I would give this product 5 stars!

This product does exactly what it says in the box which I was quite amazed. Over the four weeks I saw a difference every week and my legs feel so soft and smooth. I was thinking of going professionally but no need when I can save money and do it myself and it’s so easy. It comes with a lovely storage case. I am so glad to have this in my life, this is what I needed. The app helps to keep you on track which is very helpful.

It’s been 5 weeks since I started using this Amazing product . I want to admit that it’s been the most effective form of hair removal I have ever come across . I used to visit a salon to get my arms and legs waxed while I used to shave my bikini area . This product has made my life easy . Now I can get long time relief from body hair that too in my own privacy . It’s changed my life completely. It’s very easy to use . Especially the glide on attachment due to which it hardly takes any time to treat lasrge areas . Also contains a small stamping head which is ideal for face and underarms . I couldn’t feel any pain except for sting my knee where I didn’t notice I had a dark spot and I accidentally glided on it . So make sure you cover all your dark spots with a white pen it first . It’s got a long cord so you can use it anywhere in the room .
