When trimming your beard, set the precision wheel of the men's beard trimmer to your desired hair length. Then push the blades through your beard to remove them at an even length. For longer settings, attach one of the two supplied combs. Use the detail trimmer for fine detailing around sideburns or the moustache area. The mini foil shaver attachment and Gillette Fusion 5 ProGlide razor are ideal for shaving stubble and parts of your face you don't want any facial hair, such as your neck.

Can I use my Braun Beard Trimmer 7 with four attachments and Gillette razor on other areas of my body?

No, the Braun BT7240 can be used as a set of hair clippers with the supplied combs or as a beard trimmer only, not for trimming body hair. Our hybrid trimmers will work on body hair offering control even in tricky areas. Alternatively, check out our range of body groomers if you want to trim your body hair. The Gillette razor supplied with the Braun BT7240 beard trimmer is also only designed for use on facial hair. Note that another alternative to the Braun beard trimmer BT7240 is to opt for one of our all-in-one trimmers instead.

Can I use my Braun BT7240 Beard Trimmer 7 in the shower?

The Braun BT7240 stubble trimmer is washable so it can cope with exposure to moisture but it is not fully waterproof. Therefore, it is not advisable to use it anywhere it will be submerged or exposed to a great deal of splashing. Only the head of your Braun beard trimmer 7 series should be rinsed. This means you can use it in the shower but take care not to allow it to be placed underwater. The supplied razor is good for use in the shower, bath or over a hand basin, however.
