I used the Braun IPL Pro 5 PL5124 on my legs, my underarms and my face.I loved that it came with a precision head! as a lot of areas were hard to do with just the head that is attached at first. I had some trouble with my legs at first, figuring out how to do the areas around the boniest area were hard but the machine itself is curved so nicely that it made holding it in different ways very easy. I am still using mine after 4 weeks on a level 1 or 2 out 3 setting and I've gotten great results on my underarms and face! As for my legs the grow back is slower than after normal shaving. Also using the fast setting on my legs was amazing because it helped me get my legs done in less than 15 mins, in some cases it took me less than 10 minutes. I tried a level 3 but the IPL was too intense for me but I think most people will find that it is easy, even the highest setting is safe especially being an at home product. I was surprised to see my facial hair not really coming back at all as well. It is very well made and the senso touch made it really easy. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to try. Also the long cord was a definite plus for me! it helped me to use the machine anywhere i needed at the time around the house. I also loved the braun App that helped me track my treatments which were on different days.
Would def recommend this to friends and family or even someone just starting out using and IPL for the first time, this was by far the easiest I have used.

When I first got this product I must admit I was very sceptical of how good it would be, but after 5 weeks of using it i can honestly say I have noticed a definite reduction in hair growth. I no longer have to shave every time I hop in the shower now. Some bits are a little more sensitive than others but overall it works on any bit of hair you are looking at reducing. Once you get the hang of it then it is really easy to use. The product itself is beautifully designed and it comes in a stylish carry case. I would 100% recommend this product. I am extremely happy with the results.

I received the Silk-expert Pro 5 PL5124 IPL as part of an online trial - I was initially skeptical and didn’t know what to expect however was pleasantly surprised! I’ve struggled with unwanted hair for several years and have tried pretty much every hair removal method on the market! I previously had laser at a clinic which had good results but very expensive! The silk expert pro IPL machine is great - it’s easy, straightforward and can be used at home with very little pain (you just feel a small twang)! It also works! Overall I’m impressed and would recommend this product to anyone searching for a more permanent hair removal product!

I have been using the Silk-Expert Pro for 5 weeks now and have to say I’m very impressed! I have been using on my legs and underarms and the regrowth has slowed down and become less in this short space of time. It is very easy to use and although it isn’t totally pain free, it Isn’t unbearable. The two different heads make it easier to do large and small areas! It normally takes me around 20 minutes to do both legs and underarms which is great as I only do it once a week!

I was a little sceptical when I first read about the results and thought the only way to prove this was to try it for myself. I will never go back to waxing/shaving/hair removing again. The device itself is stylish, not cumbersome at all and incredibly simple to use. It has a separate smaller precision head attachment for smaller areas that are trickier to get to and the flex is long enough that its doesn't restrict you whilst using the device. Unlike other IPL hair removers the Braun Silk-expert Pro 5 automatically detects your skin tone and hair colour to give you the correct intensity of laser to achieve optimum lasting results. I have been using the device weekly for 4 weeks now and the results speak for themselves. I have used the device on my bikini line (using the smaller head), my underarms and my legs. I could see visible results on my bikini line after the FIRST use – the hair grew back in slower and there was about a 30% reduction in hair. After two treatments under my arms you could see a noticeable difference, and after each treatment of each individual area the results just got better and better. My leg hair is quite fair but there is definitely less hair after 4 treatments. By my summer holiday I should be totally hair free in undesirable areas. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and everyone. I had been contemplating going to a salon for IPL hair removal for a while as my friend goes, but I am so glad I put it off and got the Silk-expert Pro 5. I get better results at home than she gets going to a salon.

SILK EXPERT PRO 5 IPL has to be one the best machine I have used on my skin to remove my hair permanently. I have been using the machine for past few weeks and the results are amazing. The device is very light weight and very easy to use. it has the cord attach to the machine which is very ideal as you done have to wait for it to charge and no risk of the battery dying on you. It even comes with a pouch which includes a razor and two different attach heads for the treatment. I have been using it on my legs arms and underarm. I have seen a massive different in the hair growth. the hair has gone thinner and in some parts the hair hasn't even come back. which I am so happy about. The machine itself is so easy and fast to use. the treatment doesn't even hurt, the machine has different intensity level which is ideal for different areas of the body. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone.

I am so happy this device has changed my hair removal routine and has made my life much easier. After the first 2 weeks of using this product I noticed the hair regrowth much thinner, I am now on week 4 and will continue to use this product and I already can see a huge difference so I am expecting that soon I will have no need to use hair removal products ever again.
The device is super easy to use and the treatments themselves aren't painful. I started using the low intensity and worked my way up to the high intensity treatment. With time, your pain threshold will increase and the majority of the time you wont feel any discomfort.

I have been using this product for nearly 6 weeks and found it is easy to use , particularly with it having a uk plug. The long cord means I can use it wherever their is natural light as that has an impact on the flash. I have found that it is more effective on thinner hairs and needs a longer course on thicker hairs. The downside is the product emphasises any form of hair removal is good to use prior to IPL. However I have found that only using the razor is the most effective method. The two heads means it can be used on small areas of my face which is convenient. Overall I would continue using the product and recommend it as it is a good short term hair removal device. In regards to how to long the hair removal lasts it is person specific dependent on length of hair , thickness and colour.

After using 4 times I've started to notice a marked difference in the amount of hair and how fast hair grows back on my legs and face although not underarms or chin for some reason that’s the same. I have PCOS so I wasn’t sure whether it would make a difference but it definitely has. I’m hoping with more uses it’ll get even better at reduction.
It was a bit tricky to understand how to use with the app. I went on YouTube to find a better explanation. I did like how the app tracks your sessions which was really helpful for me. I have brown skin and black hair and was slightly hesitant because of laser hair removal being said not to work before but my skin tone is light enough for this machine. (I’m a caramel/toffee in foundation). I really liked how it scanned each section of your skin to check the colour and the little bar showing it was doing that. I think the instructions need to be much clearer and some more hints and tips eg do it in bright daylight or with good lighting. Overall very happy with the product.
