This is a decent shaver for a close shave and better than others I've used historically, it follow the contours of your face well and is very easy to clean. The beard attachment is good for sideburns and battery charge time short with long life when charged.

I’d been getting fed up with wet shaving so thought I would get one of these as it does dry shaving and wet shaving depending on what you feel like. In the past I’ve found dry shavers chew at my stubble so I was apprehensive. I needn’t have been - most comfortable and closest dry shave I’ve ever had! Then I tried just wet and it felt good! Just like an electric shave but it glides smoother. Finally I tried with shaving gel. Seemed weird to use this with an electric but it’s simply awesome! Every bit as good as a wet shave but without the pain or risk of cuts and no more blunt blades to constantly keep replacing. Instead of shaving twice a week when I can be motivated I’m shaving almost daily. The only downside is my wife appears to want to kiss me again. Cleaning is a doddle - run it under the tap. Leave it to dry. That’s it. Good work, Braun.

I wet shaves or uses hair clippers. I like it cuts close enough so I don't have to shave every other day although my hair is mildly wet it sometimes doesn't cut and has to apply pressure and go over the same spot a few times. Being curved it's also difficult for me to trim just under his nose closely though. The battery lasts a long time though and it's easily cleaned. It suits me because I takes it to work and shaves in the mornings to save time. I can't comment on foil sharpness or lifespan because we've only had it a few weeks

I have been shaving with a blade for most of my life, and never really tried a shaver machine before. I thought I'd give this series 5 a chance after it was recommended to me, and I have to say I'm super happy and annoyed i didn't try one sooner! This little machine does what it says on the tin - good shave all around. nice and close (as good as my razor). not too noisy. charge lasts well (10 shaves so far and it's still going). Seriously one of the best things I've ever bought - has drastically simplified my shaving routine - HIGHLY recommended

I've been using my new shaver for the past two weeks and it gives a very comfortable shave. It doesn't matter if you use it wet or dry. I've used it a couple of times just out of the shower and it works a treat. The trimmer is also very helpful to keep my lock down sideburns in check!

I am seriously pleased with this razor. Never really used an electric razor before apart from using my dads on the odd occasion always used some kind of razor. In my opinion it gives a better closer shave than a razor and doesn't leave my neck with a rash. It's not too noisy. Full charge in about an hour and lasts really long as well. The long hair trimmer works well too. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a case so have to keep it in the box but it does have a clip on cover for the head to protect it. All in all is a very good razor and would highly recommend

This shaver is amazing. I usually use a wet shaver but I have been looking to get an electric one so I can easily keep on top of my facial hair. The charge lasts ages I have used it a few times and it is still on full charge. I will definitely be recommending this shaver to my friends and family

I've been using this for over a week, shaving 5 times and I'm really impressed. A good, close shave everytime and gets the job done first time, no going back to get bits you've missed. As its 100% waterproof, it's dead easy to clean, just rinse it under a running tap. On the whole, yet another great Braun product

This shaver came in a great time as my other shaver broke. The device is very robust and sturdy built. No sharp or uneven edges. It only took 30min or so to full charge. Once the shaver turned on there is led power level indicate the how much juice is left. I have a long beard so used the shaver only on my neck. It did a great job for a dry shave and left no bumps or cuts. I used the additional trimmer attached on my moustache. Change of attached was easy. Did a great job in shaping around the lip. This is were the problem comes in and didn't get all 5 stars. There is no option trim the tash down to certain length. I like to trim my tash down to 2mm and had to use another device. I try to shape my beard just under my ears and it struggled with long beard hair. Overall great if you want a clean shave but will struggle if you have beard. Maybe additional attached needs to be added

I never used to be a fan of electric shavers but this has definitely changed my mind. It gives a lovely smooth shave very close. The pivot head really manoeuvres to every bump on my face. And unlike razors I’ve used before, I didn’t get a shaving rash after use. The fact it is wet and dry is excellent.
