got this last week and was apprehensive as I've used electric razors before but didn't like. This did not disappoint from the 1st use there was a notable difference my skin was smooth no shaving rash and takes just a few minutes to charge and with the carry case I can pop it in my bag and shave at work if needed

If you're similar to me and you like to maintain a tidy, groomed beard/stubble then you're always looking for a shaver which allows you to shape accurately, and cleanly shave any areas of the face and neck that should be bare. Unfortunately then, this shaver probably isn't for you. First, I attempted to use the beard shaping attachment but I found it really difficult to use it accurately due to how bulky it is. You can't use it sideways whatsoever otherwise you're trimming without being able to see properly. It's a bit easier to use it on downward motions, but even then the bulk of the attachment covers a lot of the area around the lines of your beard/sideburns you're wanting to trim. I then changed the attachment to the shaving foil. A big positive for this shaver is that changing attachments is incredibly easy! You pinch and pull to remove, and click on to place. However, the shaving foil left a lot to be desired. It's handy for shaving large areas, especially as my neck grows a lot of unwanted stubble. But it doesn't provide a close to skin clean shave that you would want. It leaves patchy bits of stubble around your skin, and as demonstrated in my photos, it takes so much pressure to remove all the hair that it leaves your skin red and blotchy! If you're looking for a shaver for sensitive skin then this shaver is supposed to be suitable for that. However I would only suggest purchasing this shaver for sensitive skin, if you don't want a clean shave and dont mind leaving behind some stubble. Using it gently on your skin is actually a really nice shaving experience, I barely felt any hair pulling and found it left my skin feeling soft and supple. But using it with enough pressure to perform a clean shave will leave your skin feeling itchy, and looking red and blotchy. If you're especially particular about the shape of your beard and its neatness then I wouldn't recommend this shaver. However, if you want a quick and easy trimmer, and don't mind having some stubble left behind then this is probably the type of shaver for you. It's easily removed attachments, and sensitive application (when used gently) will serve you well during your day to day washing and grooming routines. It's other positive points are that it has a digital screen which tells you when it needs charging, and also a lock function which when enabled stops the shaver from turning on, which is useful for travel. Charging the shaver is very fast and you won't have to wait long for it to work perfectly. This shaver also comes with a protective case which feels a nice quality, and one which I'm confident will keep the shaver safe during travel. I personally won't be using this shaver for accurate grooming, but I will be using it for a quick trim when I'm in a rush, if that's the type of shaver you're looking for then this is the one for you!

This razor surprised me. Not only did it shave extremely close dry but also when used wet shaved just as close which is great for my sensitive skin. The trimmer attachment is also handy for shaping around the ears

The time had come to replace my existing Braun electric shaver and I'm glad I did. This one is fanstastic, the way the head moves to the contours of your face is amazing and gives you the closest shave ever. As I travel alot (well not at the moment) the travel case is very sturdy and will keep it protected whilst I go around the world. Well done Braun, another top quality product.

I bought this product recently and have been impressed. Great battery life and great features. Instruction manual was a bit hard to follow but you can quickly pick up most of it. I found it was best for short stubble and where hair all goes in the same direction (I have a swirl of hair that took ages to shave) but other wise it’s amazing!

Haven't had a shaver like this before so I was dubious as how it would work. I was very pleasantly surprised. It feels sturdy and good quality - it gives a very clean shave and the best bit is the attachment that lets it trim your side burns. Would definitely recommend.

Confession time - in all my years of shaving, I’ve never used a shaver with foils and boy have I been missing out of this product is anything to go by. I ditched electric shavers many moons ago as they just didn’t deliver that close shave like a hand razor. Nothing worse than clumps of stubble (my beard is pretty resilient) after thinking everything was smooth and clear. Now though - not only do I get a fantastically smooth result, but with the Series 6, I can even shave in the shower and wash it all away at the same time. The fools are really easy to use and follow the contours of the face nicely, the trimmer lets me do my “edges” nicely, and it’s so easy to keep it clean. Finally the grip means I’m not continually dropping it from my hobbit hands. Really love this shaver and going to get one each for my nephews who are just discovering shaving. At least this way they won’t have the same experience as I did with blunt razors and carnage from cutting themselves!

I've been using this for the past month now and could not be happier. Its a lot more convenient then a standard razor. I've used a few different electric razors and this one is by far the best. It provides a dead close shave as well as being smooth. Would recommend to anyone.

This razor has given me a shave as close as a wet style shave. Very easy to hold with comfort and it manoeuvres well around the contours of the face, I noticed it was quieter than some electric shavers I've had in the past too. Once finished I felt clean, smooth and well groomed, Very easy to clean it can even be rinsed under a tap too to get it thoroughly clean if needed, then allow to air dry. So whether you use an electric shaver daily or just when away on business/ vacation I would certainly recommend giving this one a go, can be kept in glovebox of car if you travel around and need to create a great first impression, and easily fits in hand luggage etc for the holidays. You will look and feel great with this by your side. No negative issues as of yet to report,

I normally wet shave with a disposable razor, but this electric razor has changed my routine. So far the battery hasn't needed recharging after 2 weeks, with twice daily use in really impressed. Cleaning is easy, with all that's required is included.
