I have quite thick black hair in my legs which grows back faster after waxing. I was a bit hesitant to use ipl initially but some how gained confidence and went for it, that's the best decision I took. It is painless. I started with the gentle mode first time and now have moved do glide mode. It was very easy to set up, the instruction was straight forward. Has two caps one for larger area and one for I would call sensitive areas. I did feel a bit sensitive underarms and bikini lines initially. My hair growth in leg has reduced a lot and hair is much thinner now but the bikini line I don't see much difference in the regrowth, might take a little longer. By my next summer I would be more confident in wearing my bikini and short dresses.

After shaving my legs and armpits which took less than 10 minutes, after the first time of use(a week later) I was very surprised to see that the hairs under my arms had not yet grown back. The hairs on my legs had grown back somewhat but definitely not as much as usual.I am excited to see how much growth happens next week. I do recommend watching videos to understand how to use and I highly recommend this product

It isn’t heavy so you can travel with it. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. It’s quick to set up and use straight away (after shaving). Despite the size of it, it is indeed light enough and comfortable to use with one hand while gliding on the skin. Having used a previous Ipl machine, this one did take a little bit longer to detect my skin tone so had to move it around a lot more. For me personally I noticed the difference with hair growth with just two treatments sessions which is amazing so I will continue to use it. Normally I’d see stubble after 3 days but so far nothing. I really like that that it gives no irritation like a razor would give.

As I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised to see a lovely bag to keep everything nicely in, I wasn’t expecting it to be so nice. The lead is really long too so you can plug in and use sitting on your bed in comfort. I’ve used an IPL before but this was so much better than the one I’ve tried purely based on the ease of use. The device picks your skin tone for you saving you the trouble of trying to work this out what setting to use yourself, this is fab. But what I absolutely love is the glide function, so you can do your legs by gliding and it will keep flashing the lights as you do this. Doing up to my knee takes about 2 mins total, which is the same time it takes me to shave, awesome. There is no pain just feels hot but not uncomfortable just hot. I’m excited to see the results I get over time. I cannot recommend more, if you are unsure you won’t regret buying this.

However, so far I've been impressed with how easy it is to use, it glides across the skin perfectly. Having read previous reviews about IPL razors I was skeptical and was expecting a much more painful experience, but the pain has been minimal. I'm looking forward to seeing the results as I continue to use the product. The downside to the Silk-expert Pro 3 is it can't be used by everyone i.e. Darker skinned individuals and those with very fair hair, so be sure to check the skin tone and body hair chart before use.

This was quite expensive, inconvenient and didn't seem hugely effective, so I was keen to try a DIY alternative. I've just used it once (lower legs) and so far it's been easy to use and the hairs have grown back noticeably slower after shaving (3 days since shaving and zero growth). I'm really hoping this will be a long-term solution! It all comes in a very stylish case, and the fact that you have to use it plugged in takes out the faff of charging. The flashes are surprisingly bright, so I wore sunglasses while doing it.

The box it comes in is filled with information about the product and how it best used. This information also includes hair colour that it is best compatible with. Once you open up the box the machine is inside a lovely pouch to keep everything safe and secure. This pouch is great for storage when the machine is not in use. Also inside the pouch there is a razor included to removed the hair in areas you want. The machine is white in colour and isn't as heavy as it looks. There is a power cable with a UK & American plug included. There are also 3 different head sizes that can target certain areas. When you use the machine it becomes hot so I always leave it to cool down after use. The flashes give off a small stinging feeling but it is not too uncomfortable. There is also different levels included, including a sensitive skin setting. The machine has to be used for different amounts of time based of the thickness and colour of hair but the results are amazing.

This stuff has been incredible for me especially during summer, I find it always so annoying to shave and then two days later you have to do it again. This IPL machine has done miracle to my legs armpits and bikini line, my hair grow so much slower and so much tinier! This is quite an investment but so worth it!

Although I've only been using this IPL for a few weeks, I'm already seeing really impressive results. My hair is not growing back anywhere near as much as before and I can tell that in time I will be using my razor a lot less if at all. The device is easy to use and navigate. It comes with 2 different attachments to target specific areas. I find the IPL to be almost completely painless, unless you have a small amount of hair left which is honestly to be expected. I love how compact yet efficient this is. This will be a must have as part of my self care routine now!
