After having tried it for the first time I must say that it isn't the best shaver in the range, or even on the market (It doesnt shave longer stubble very well), but having said that it does what it says on the tin, and for the price its retailing at I would say that its a great first electric razor at an affordable price.

I stay away from wet shaving due to razor bumps caused. This shaver is easy to use, well made and comes with a bit of charge out of the box. The mains charger comprises a 2 pin plug which sticks straight into our bathroom shaver socket. I found using this shaver a long process due to removing stray hairs on my neck and moustache - the rubbing of the shaver left my skin sore in places. However it results in a close shave you would expect from a wet shave. Cleaning is easy - run under the tap and leave to dry. I would recommend this product if you are after a close shave on a budget with time to spare (removing awkward hair). That said I miss the option to shape and trim my beard, moustache and side burns.

It is really ergonomic and feels solid in the hand it also has a comfortable gliding motion across the skin and I was surprised how little redness I had after the shave. I do tend to have strong stubble and that has aways put me off electric shavers, and this one unfortunately didn't give me a clean shave, and I had to go over the same area several times to get it close enough to be acceptable for work, but it has made me think about investing in the Series 9 higher spec model. However, whilst travelling and for the low price it is excellent value for money.

I used it on five day stubel and found it cut with ease without any hairs getting caught. Only thing I do t like about it is the two pin plug. The shaver is quiet powerful as well and the charge last a lot longer then my other branded shavers. I would definitely recommend this to anyone

If I was a customer wanting to buy this certain shaver I would want to know from other customers if it was any good, does it need batteries and if it easy to clean? Well after testing out this new shaver I can inform you from my experience that it didn't take off any of my beard hairs whatsoever and I have obviously used shavers in my lifetime so I am fully aware how to use them, etc but it just wouldn't touch them and I tried quite a few times and was getting very stressed out because of this. It could of just been a mechanical issue because the brand name Braun is usually really good so for me this shaver didn't work and it was plugged in and everything. However a good thing about this shaver is that it doesn't require batteries to use as it is electric so therefore it comes with a charger plug which is very handy. Also, the shaver is waterproof so therefore it is easy to clean as you can just hold the product under running water. I just wish that this product worked for me as I was very pleased when I first got it but now I am least impressed.

In my opinion the razor is suited better for those with fair hair, as this razor wouldn't be suited to trimming/taming beards. Using the razor was great, as promised the blades bended around the face, another advantage is the razor is waterproof. I did find that the first time I used the product it left black marks on my face.

I had to stop using it and go back to my other razor, so I would not recommend this product

The Razor was quick to charge (2 hours from flat to full!) Through use of the charging plug provided. Once charged I attempted my first trim. The first cut provided a below average cut as it did not appear to trim the stubble under my chin and around the neck. Rather than write the product off (and after using my regular shaver); I attempted another shave when the hair was shorter. This appeared to work much better and gave a well even trim. The razor followed the shape of my face well and provided me with a close shave which did not cause any discomfort to my sensitive skin. In summary: Great little razor for sensitive skin but don't expect a good shave if your beard is too long!

The information provided is very long winded so I just skipped that part. First use was tricky as my hair is thick and had left it a few days, after 15 minutes still trying to get all the remaining hair i gave up and used normal razor. When was just stubble was perfect only 5 minute job. I suffer from shaving rashes a lot from using a normal razor and have seen a reduction of this. Though this is were I'm in a mixed bag, I prefer the finish of a old fashioned razor and how quickly I can remove vs the electric one as always misses bits. I think I will stick to my normal razor. 2 star is a fair score. Glad to have the opportunity to give feedback on this product. Shame didn't come with shaver plug adaptor. Charging time was fine no issues.

It has 3 pressure-sensitive shaving elements which worked in the way of not cutting you, shaving with it was another experience. I found after growing my beard for about 3 days it was unable to cope it seemed decided to cut when it wanted creating patches . However it did have some useful features, waterproof up to 5 meters which Allows you to clean the razor properly. Also being rechargeable is great not having to find battery's. The shaver also molded to your hand and was very comfortable to use. After using the product I wished I would use for many months to come I will go back to using the traditional razor as it is much faster and a more pleasant experience. The Braun Seires 3 is not for me.
