This shaver is so smooth and sleek, doesn't tug at you're hair, no chance of cutting yourself and leaves you with a nice smooth clean finish. No rashes atall. The razor part unclipped easily and can we rinsed clean after each use. Easy charge function just plug and go, charge time was amazing and lasts!. The shaver it's self looks very smart and definitely how a shaver should be with technology being so advanced this day and age. I'd recommend this product to all ages don't be put off because it's electric it's simple and effective. While I'd normally use a Series 7 razor, I decided to give the Series 3 300S a run for its money and I've been very pleasantly surprised. The first test was a comparison, shaving one side with the Series 3, and the other with a series 7, Immediately I was impressed by zero visible difference between the two, so I proceeded to re-shave opposite sides to see if the opposite razor could pick up anything my eyes couldn't. The Series 3 was near perfect but after revisiting the same area there where a few crackles as the odd missed hair was caught, however if any difference in trimmed length, it really was negligible. So what sets the fantastic Series 7 and the equally impressive Series 3 300s apart? Well the more expensive Series 7 has a rotating head, various sensitivity settings and a supposed more advanced shaving element. But it's the 300S I want to concentrate on, sure it's bare bones, there's no fancy bells and whistles, and it might be a budget rechargeable shaver, however it's performance is near identical. The few missed hairs I mentioned where potentially down to the lack of a rotating head, or the difference in shaving element, but if the Series 7 was a 10/10 then the Series 3 300s would certainly score a solid 9/10 because there's so little in the actual shaving performance. After extended use, you will notice the elements heating up (something that isn't as easily noticeable on the Series 7) And due to the static head, it takes a little longer than it's my more expensive comparison model, but let's get things straight, the Series 7 costs almost three times as much as the 300s, and while I love my Series 7, anyone wanting a simple, effective shave, then I would seriously recommend the Series 3 300s over the Series 7. Firstly for price, secondly for a near identical shave and thirdly for the smooth, black and discreet styling makes this a fantastic little shaver. Those with sensitive skin, who want to reduce shaving time might be better placed with the rotating head and more advanced element on the series 7, but 95% of people will be perfectly fine with the 300S and even more happy with the price. Finally it's worth mentioning the size of the 300s. As you can see it fits comfortably in the hand and is a neat. Stylish design, I'm not a big fan of shavers trying to look like bright, advanced gadgets, and really appreciate the Matte black simple finish. The on/off button is easy to press with a distinct vibration to the device when on, the build quality matches the range and isn't upto series 7 standard, but it's still a good solid unit which doesn't sound as plastic/hollow as many I've seen. Also it's worth mentioning the 300S is waterproof upto 5 metres, I'm not a fan of using a shaver wet, I prefer the crackle of dry hairs, but it's nice to know f I'm in a rush I could shave mid-shower as well as thoroughly rinse the unit without fear of damage. Bottom line: Incredibly impressed, as with anything set your budget, and if the Series 3 is the best Braun rechargeable shaver in your budget then it's quite simply a Must buy!

It really is the ideal travel shaver, it gives a close, comfortable shave, its lightweight, compact and got a great batery life. As the unt is so light I've started dropping the series 3 into my work bag so I can have a quick save before big meetings or (more likely) before hitting the pub after work. With the 3 pressure sensitive foils I've had no issues with razor burn and the fact its waterproof makes it easy to rinse under the tap. Its not as "feature rich" as other electric razors but as a travel companion it cant be faulted.

It has a soft feel and fits well in the hand. The 3 blades adapted really well to my face, leaving no hair untrimmed. I use it to shave my cheeks and neck as I'm quite patchy and it fits perfectly to leave me with the style I want. It has a very simple on/off function for quick and easy use. The charger that comes with it is a 2 prong for a shaver socket, which I don't have. I bought a converter plug which was cheap and it works perfectly. This is not a styling shaver, only buy it if you want to completely remove your beard hair or have a styling shaver already and want to keep other parts of your face tidy.

It is a very well built, sturdy and fresh shaver which offers a close clean shave that you will be more than satisfied with. If you are after an Electric Shaver that offers beard trimming abilities to keep that ruffled look going this is not for you as that function is not available. However for the price and for what this shaver has to offer you cannot argue. At this price you will get a very well made product, a clean close shave which will leave you looking funky fresh, not only this but a long lasting battery to boot.

Which has a lot less packaging then other electric razors. In to box is the actual razor, a protective cap to protect the foils while not in use and a smart plug that automatically changes the voltage from 100v to 240v so no needed to message under changing plugs and worrying about short circuiting. I charged the battery before first use so it would be at full power. Over alliteration took around 10 minutes to get the perfect shave like I normally would get from manual and other electric razors. The foils do glide smoothy over the skin but it does miss hairs so have to go over the same area a few times to get everything which makes the skin irritated. The battery charged really fast and it is really simple to use. It only got 4 stars due to the fact it took so long to get all of the hairs and be completely a close shave. Great for if you want a quick shave and / or have the patience to get a perfect close shave.

The shaver got really close in most areas and would of been a 5 star if was 100% clean shave in the tricky bits around the nose. Had no loss of power whilst shaving and didn't need to recharge. All around a good shaver who I would recommend to anyone wishing to ditch the disposable razor.

The battery is very good and I ran it down after using it twice and it took almost 15 minutes to drain completely. The grip is great especially when wet shaving and gives an almost silky smooth shave. The problem I've always found with these types of shavers is the accuracy when shaving your side burns. Overall, it does what is says with little negatives other than my own personal preferences.

Visually pleasing with a nice feel and we'll thought out ergonomics. Not being used to using an electric shaver I was unsure that it could compete with a good old razor but I've been proven wrong, the first use of the shaver was a dream, fully charged it breezed through my beard no problems with minimal to no snagging and leaving no sensitivity. The battery capacity is suitable for its purpose and I can usually get around 4-5 shaves off a single charge which for me is great as I can used it while I'm away on business and I don't have to take the power cord. Cleaning the shaver is very simple thanks to its removable head and blades, my only concern is how often I would need to replace the blade but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Subsequent uses are still as pleasant as the first and I will continue to use the shaver as part of my daily routine.

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive (coupon, discount, free sample, sweepstakes, contest with raffle etc).] On opening the box that the razor came in I was not overwhelmed with the packaging that came in first having a glued down the lid which felt like you're ripping open just to get inside then to put in the tray out which held the razor in place to find them just lose its cardboard as a divider this all in my opinion felt very cheap A couple of items that I didn't like was that there wasn't a cleaning brush included in the packaging and the other item was that there wasn't a hair clipper part for cutting longer hair which I have had on previous razors I owned. When I eventually got round to using the the razor I was Absolutely gobsmacked. I used an electric razor some years ago and was totally unimpressed with the result but this razor was very impressive. A very close shave without the usual nips and cuts that comes with a wet shave
