It's not very noisy when using it and it has a good weight to it but it's not heavy just sturdy feeling. It has a built in cleaning reservoir to thoroughly clean the heads after use if you want to use it or you can just clean it under the tap as it's waterproof. The battery holds charge well and you just stand the shaver in the stand to charge up. The shave is close but I do have slight stubble left after each shave which I don't mind but if you want a 100% smooth face you will have to keep going over the same spots a lot. Overall its a very good shaver and the stand, the cleaning system and ease of set up make it all that extra special plus the box it comes in is quite big so you see and feel the value for money.
