Selling a rechargeable device in 2026 with a proprietary charger instead of USB-C is indefensible. Finding a replacement has been a complete pain because Braun appears to use several very similar but incompatible connections. I’ve bought three replacement chargers from Amazon, and none of them fits. The trimmer cut nicely while I still had the original charger, but it has sat unused ever since that charger went missing. A perfectly functional product has become electronic waste because of an outdated, poorly designed charging system. Braun should adopt USB-C instead of leaving customers to navigate a confusing assortment of proprietary plastic chargers. I cannot recommend it.
