[This review was submitted after receiving a free sample]. Honestly, I was sceptical at first but now I can say it is worth it. Having used the Braun Series 5 shaver as my daily for the past 6 or so years. It has held up well. Battery has never died on me and it has never had any faults, I had maintained it with a new head every 18 months and put it in the clean station after every use. I did have my gripes with it though as I seemed to always end up with cuts on my neck and in tricky areas. Assuming this was always gonna be the case with a foil shaver and the nevo would be no different. To my surprise, immediately during use of the NEVO, it felt like it cut through hairs much faster without having to run the foil over the same area as many times. Especially with tricky areas around my jaw and neck/Adams apple. I was most impressed that it did a great job and DIDNT CUT ME ONCE which was the main issue for me now fixed! Although I did still struggle getting a couple stray hairs to lift up off the skin to go into the foil but that just takes an extra minute or so faffing. To finish, this is a massive upgrade if you have an older model such as series 3 or 5 however, personally I would still struggle to justify spending £400 on a foil shaver but that is my personal preference. The only negatives I'd say is the travel case is large however it is said to provide 6 weeks battery life so it's give and take. It would also be nice if they upgraded to charge via USB C and not their proprietary fitting. Another negative would be that although the all stainless steel body design looks sleek and unique, it does not provide as much grin as models such as my previous series 5 that had rubber on the hand. But the shaver size itself to hold is quite compact and not too fiddly. Lastly, the screen is a nice premium touch but of course a gimmick as it is not touch or interactive. It displays the nevo logo upon turning on, the battery percentage/charging/cleaning status. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this foil shaver to anyone with a higher budget that want a quick and irritation free shave with a premium looking device.

[This review was submitted after receiving a free sample]. I'm really torn on this one. Materials wise, this might be the most premium feeling shaving product I've ever owned. The shaver is weighty without being too heavy, feels great to the touch in stainless steel and definitely appears to be sturdy all round. That extends to the charging case which is genuinely excellent. It's a bit bulky, but the flat base makes it much friendlier to being used in a hotel room bathroom and means using it in a rush is fine knowing when I put everything back quickly it still keeps the battery topped up. One huge downside to the charging case though is the lack of USB-C recharging, or any USB functionality to speak of at all. You're railroaded into carrying around the proprietary shaver charger for everything, which begs the question as why to bother with a charging case at all. If I have to bring the cable for the case, I could just plug directly into the shaver, so what is the point exactly? Thankfully the battery life on the shaver does seem to be very strong, so even if the case only gives one full recharge, then it should still last for a medium length trip without issue. The screen on the shaver is properly crisp and sharp looking, although I question what usable info it's giving me when it's facing into my chest. It tells me when it needs cleaning after use, sure, but is that not a given after every use? The battery readout is nice, but that feels like it should be a given to get an accurate readout on battery life. It's a very premium version of something that could be achieved with much lower grade tech, so I don't particularly see the value here. The cleaning and charge stand is fine, it's majority similar to older Braun cleaning stations, so little to complain about there, and if it isn't broken, don't fix it I guess. Then we get into shaving performance, and it's really not good. I keep a beard, so I was using this just to tidy up edges and the areas of my face I don't want hair. The flat trimmer on the back of the shaver was next to useless. It barely cut through the shortest of my beard edge hairs, needing multiple pass overs to start clearing hair out. Really disappointed with that. Once that was done, the main shaver was fine enough at tackling what was left, but letting the shaver try and tackle anything over like 5mm was like using a comb. If you already only have stubble, you're in for an absolute treat, but if you do keep any facial hair or don't shave often, this thing is not going to be a quick and efficient solution at all. I will say though, I am normally prone to razor burn and this did not give me any of that at all, so points there for sure. Overall, I'm really underwheled on performance, but delighted by the build quality. This feels like a bragging rights razor rather than a reliable tool, something that makes for a snazzy present, not something you'd put time into choosing for it's results. It's beautifully designed, but practically achieves very little, and isn't something I'd hastily recommend.

[This review was submitted after receiving a free sample]. Used this product a few times now and I think it's amazing, leaves me feeling smooth and has a great feel. The product looks good and holds a decent charge but comes with a cleaning holder which charges and cleans the heads of the shaver, easy. It also comes with a travel case which will charge it, would definitely recommend this, would be a great Father's Day or Christmas gift

[This review was submitted after receiving a free sample]. This is good value for what you get in the box which incudes the charging case, cleaning attachment with the fluid and the cable. It gave a really close shave with no pulling or pinching like I've experienced with other shavers. It was easy to use and gave a perfect clean shave first time without having to go over the same bit again. It is well made and will last me a long time which obviously adds to the value as cheaper models have to be replaced often. It comes with a travel case so is great to take away as it also doubles up as the charger. Overall I am really impressed with this Braun shaver and would definitely recommend it as a great buy.

[This review was submitted after receiving a free sample]. This thing is really good. First off this is definitely built to last you can feel the quality in the razor. Smooth sleek feel to it. The razor has the normal cutting head and a precision trimmer. The razor functions brilliantly its so smooth on the skin and gives a really close shave with minimal effort. It's display let's you know when it needs cleaning. This kit also comes with an electric travel case that you charge and it charges the razor. Again the build quality is good in the case also has an integrated cleaning brush. Also comes with an automatic cleaning station this thing is cool so you put this cartridge in it and plug it in and its setup. When your ready you insert the razor and press start it runs through a cleaning then drying cycle and its good to go again.

[This review was submitted after receiving a free sample]. The Braun NEVO17010C feels incredibly premium, with a sleek stainless steel design and excellent build quality. It gives a close, smooth shave without irritating my skin and the flexible head works great around the jaw and neck area. Battery life is great and the cleaning station is fantastic! It makes maintenance effortless. It's definitely expensive, however, the performance and quality make it feel worth it if you shave regularly.
