This shaver is so fast and efficient, it definitely cut down the time I spend shaving every morning. In my case, the closeness was pretty good; in fact, it was better than expected with the three-blade shaving head. Build quality and ergonomics is nifty but I personally wish it was slighter smaller. Overall would recommend.

The Braun series 5...I was optimistic yet fully aware that this would not compare to the series 7 o 9 however thought the easy clean feature, if 'easy' enough could be a great introduction the the range. Unfortunately after running it under the tap for a while and trying to be thorough, it took a while to get the majority of the hairs out and there were still some left over. It actually seems easier to have a detachable head. The design is simplistic and unoffensive and the LED screen is a nice feature which is a positive however, whilst the product gives a close shave and it comfortable enough, I would prefer a more flexible head rather than the fixed head in the series 5. Overall a good value for money product but there is a significant step down form quality compared to the series 7.

This razor looks beautiful. It is small and light but well designed and robust. The handle fits the hand well to allow for food control and the small size means it is easy to manoeuvre. I was a little upset not to see a docking station or similar, rather than just having the charger plug in. It would be much neater with a stand or similar. The change from the clipper or the shaver is easy, but attaches well making it not flimsy like other razors. The shaver catches the hair well but needs to be cleaned and emptied after every shave. I use the clippers more often than the shaver, but the shaver itself is good quality. I prefer ring electric shavers rather than straight designs, but this one works quite well even on the hard to reach areas around the jaw. The clippers work well, but it seems that the blades are hidden quite deep so it is difficult to be ultra-precise with them. Overall, this is a well-designed and good quality shaver that will last for a long time and shave well.

I've varried between wet shaving and using beard trimmers during my life, i don't have very thick facial hair so when i used an electric shaver when younger the result wasn't great and since i have just found it easier to use a trimmer. However since using my new Braun shaver i have the best of both worlds, the trimmer attachment gets me down to a stubble that the close shaver then clears to a close shave that rivals a wet shave without all the hassle. It's got great power so it feels like it glides over all hairs with minimal effort, and its very comfortable on your face with all 3 sections of the shaver clip having up/down and sideways movement to roll over jaw and cheek bones. The charger is efficient and battery life is great, no issues with loss of power when at half charge. Also being able to charge in the bathroom and use in a wet environment is ideal. The process of getting a smooth shave all over takes a while which could be just a much due to my relatively fine hair but stops me giving 5 stars. Its also very easy to remove and click on the different attachments which makes cleaning and switching effortless. Overall very pleased with it, a high quality and professional feeling piece of kit.

I bought this shaver few weeks ago and I use it every single day. It leaves your skin so soft and it doesn't pull your beard or hair as the other razors do. I've got quite sensitive skin and since I've been using it, I haven't had any problem with rushes or spots. I also bought a couple of the EasyClick accessories to trim my beard when I want to let it grow instead of shaving it. It is quite easy to use. I use it in the shower as well and it works perfectly fine. I highly recommend it if you don't like to spend a long time shaving every morning. Also, the battery lasts for few days, so I don't need to worry about charging it everyday.

I have had this product now over a week and it’s absolutely amazing! I used to wet shave most days and this has meant I can use the electric razor in the shower and no need get the shaving cream etc out. If you’ve never used an electric shaver I would definitely recommend this!

I’ve been using this now for three weeks and it has been wonderful. I enjoy the silky smooth finish it leaves. It glides over the skin and stubble and leaves zero redness. The ability to use it wet makes this razor rise above what I’ve used before. Just perfect for neck shaves and the trimmer allows precise edging for my beard.

The shaver has some good points for me. It shaves well, but I would say not as well as a wet shave, and appears to hold charge in it battery well. As a travelling shaver this is fine. But to use every day, there are two or three things that I struggle with. 1. Using it dry, I find that I get a shaving rash - now I think this is more to do with me than the shaver, however I find it an issue. 2. Using it wet it is OK, but it doesn't have strap or anything to catch it by if it slips in your hand and falls to the floor. 3. It doesn't have a stand for the shaver or any cable tidy for the cable, therefore they just have to put in a cupboard which I don't like. Also the trimmer attachment just has to be left in the cupboard and I keep misplacing it. I prefer shavers to have everything built in to them. Overall, I would say it is OK, its primary goal is to be a shaver, and it does that OK. However it is the 'living with' part of it that is where I start to struggle as it is very basic and that shows through.

Have used this for a dry shave and it gives an amazing close shave as you would get with a traditional razor. It's incredibly easy to clean and is slim which is good when handling it and storing it. Have yet to try it for a wet shave. Haven't suffered any nicks or cuts yet which is a good sign!

I’ve always wet shaved but I thought I’d give this razor a go and it did not disappoint. So much more convenient and gives a very close shave! Very easy to use and also has a great battery life! the trimmer is also excellent for those hard to reach spots, overall a fantastic razor and has made shaving a lot quicker and easier!
