I got this for when I need a quick tidy up and don’t have access to everything I would usually use. Excellent for travelling. Simple to operate and wonderfully easy to clean. Fantastic shaver.

In the past I’ve found dry shavers chew at my stubble so I was apprehensive. I needn’t have been - most comfortable and closest dry shave I’ve ever had! Then I tried just wet and it felt good! Just like an electric shave but it glides smoother. Finally I tried with shaving gel. Seemed weird to use this with an electric but it’s simply awesome! Every bit as good as a wet shave but without the pain or risk of cuts and no more blunt blades to constantly keep replacing. Instead of shaving twice a week when I can be motivated I’m shaving almost daily. The only downside is my wife appears to want to kiss me again. Cleaning is a doddle - run it under the tap. Leave it to dry. That’s it. Good work, Braun.

The beard attachment is good for sideburns and battery charge time short with long life when charged.

I like it cuts close enough so I don't have to shave every other day although my hair is mildly wet it sometimes doesn't cut and has to apply pressure and go over the same spot a few times. Being curved it's also difficult for me to trim just under his nose closely though. The battery lasts a long time though and it's easily cleaned. It suits me because I takes it to work and shaves in the mornings to save time. I can't comment on foil sharpness or lifespan because we've only had it a few weeks

I thought I'd give this series 5 a chance after it was recommended to me, and I have to say I'm super happy and annoyed i didn't try one sooner! This little machine does what it says on the tin - good shave all around. nice and close (as good as my razor). not too noisy. charge lasts well (10 shaves so far and it's still going). Seriously one of the best things I've ever bought - has drastically simplified my shaving routine - HIGHLY recommended

Never really used an electric razor before apart from using my dads on the odd occasion always used some kind of razor. In my opinion it gives a better closer shave than a razor and doesn't leave my neck with a rash. It's not too noisy. Full charge in about an hour and lasts really long as well. The long hair trimmer works well too. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a case so have to keep it in the box but it does have a clip on cover for the head to protect it. All in all is a very good razor and would highly recommend

It doesn't matter if you use it wet or dry. I've used it a couple of times just out of the shower and it works a treat. The trimmer is also very helpful to keep my lock down sideburns in check!

It gives a great close shave, leaving me smooth and the precision head is great for my sideburns. Used wet and dry and great results each time. Never given me shaving rash.

Nice and smooth cutting. The trimming attachment is a bonus. Nicely evenly cut out small ereas. Very happy with this shawer. If u looking for a good shawer dont hasitate to have one

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive (coupon, discount, free sample, sweepstakes, contest with raffle etc).] Tried this new braun series 5 shaver with one attachment, brilliant!!, havn't clean shaved in years so gave it a go, shaves really close and leaves face smooth also used trimmer to cut head hair and then went over it with the shaver glide and again shaved close no need to go over it again. Going to purchase the other cutting guides that go with it to help with grooming my beard when I grow it again. Holds charge well used it three times since giving a full charge and still over 3/4 charge left. A great purchase.
