Now I know that it may sound like an overstatement, but this is a truly outstanding epilator. I've owned a couple of epilators before, some from Braun, some from other brands, and not one of them even compares to this one. The first thing that impressed me was the number of accessories - you may think that they're too much, but I have been using them all. Next, it's the level of pain, which is barely existent. I have very sensitive skin all over my body, so generally epilators don't do a good job at sheltering me from pain. The Silk-epil 9 is differentm though, as I barely feel the tweezers. I love the presentation and the suede bag for storage. The different accessories are easy to remove and attach, and a charge lasts for more than an hour, which is enough to get everything done. Finally, I love the fact that you can use it in the shower!

This product has so many different features which as of yet I haven't had chance to try them all out yet. The one that I have tried so far is the epilater which I am so pleased with. It pulls even the smallest of hairs out from the root enabling my legs to stay smoother for longer. I do have a few stray hairs which were probably not at the minimum recommendation for the length when I used the epilater for the first time. As a busy Mum I don't get chance to pamper myself so I need to set aside some time to check out the other features.

I honestly am in love with this epilator. I have tried various other similar products, but this is by far my favourite. It is absolutely worth every penny. It was simple and comfortable to use, and also comes in a pretty design. I have used this product on legs, under arms, face and bikini lines and the the results are amazing. I would very highly recommend this product. If this is your first time using an epilator, it also comes with simple step by step instructions and attachments

I have been using this product over the last month now and have been really pleased with the results. I found the products easy to use and the instructions were clear and helpful. The product charges quickly and looks sleek and stylish, especially with the rose colours. The bikini trimmer in particular worked quickly and was easy to use and the two exfoliating brushes were effective at preventing in-growing hairs. The epilator works really well and manoeuvres itself to fit the curves of your body. I loved the fact that I could use the product both in and out the shower and I found the product easy to clean. Both the trimmer and epilator both come with lovely storage pouches, which were high quality material and the larger pouch is large enough to hold all the accessories. I would definitely recommend and am really pleased with the results.

I have tried an epilator before but just couldn't get on with it. This is so much different. I love the fact this is rechargeable and that it is cordless. I must admit I was scpetical about it being able to be used both wet and dry but I am amzed - it has a good weight to it and can be gripped easily so that it doesnt slip from your grasp when using it. I love all tthe different attachments which means I can do all parts of my body with this one kit - and all the pieces can be kept in the drawstring bag provided. I suppose there is a little discomfort first couple of times you use it but thats because I havent used one in a long time and forgot how it felt but after that you hardly notice it. The exfoliating brushes are a great idea - they enable you to get perfect results on your skin The product overall is very feminine - I love the rose gold the instruction booklets are easy to follow Overall a fabulous product - wouldnt hesitate to recommend

I was lucky enough to be selected to try this product for free, and I am so happy! This was the first time I used anything like this, and will definitely continue to. It takes the hair from the root, also has different functions! Left my legs feeling smooth and prickly free! Its a reasonable price and gives good results! It's exactly what I needed, finally got rid of my razors thanks to this!

I had never used an epilator before so was a little nervous to try the Braun Silk epil 9 system at first. I was impressed with the look of the product as there were so many extras: a shaver, massage pad, exfoliation brushes and more. I decided to try the epilator on my legs but was worried it might be painful so I chose the lowest setting and attached the skin contact cap before beginning. I needn't have worried as I hardly felt a thing and my legs were so soft and smooth afterwards! I've used the shaver on my armpits which worked brilliantly and have used the exfoliation brushes which feel very soft on your skin. I have also used the massage pad a couple of times but I can't say yet if it will improve the texture of my skin. All in all I think the Braun Silk epil 9 is a fantastic product and I won't be going back to my old razor anytime soon!

I have the Braun Silk-épil 7 already, but this product has some major updates and I can see the improvements straight away. The hairs on my legs were very small when I received the epilator to try and it successfully managed to remove them, leaving my legs smooth. The other version struggled with my smaller, finer hairs. The head of this is also wider, so it picks more hairs up and covers more skin in one stroke which is perfect! I have only tried this on my legs however, which when it comes to pain, it is completely manageable. Bikini line, ouchhh! And underarms, no, I just cannot stand the pain even with the trimmer cap for sensitive areas. I have yet to try these areas out in the shower though, so this could well reduce the pain as it does for legs. One charge was sufficient to do both legs top to bottom and it held its charge really well. I found the previous model didn't hold charge as well and started to struggle when I got to the tops of my legs and was finishing off. The bikini trimmer is absolutely amazing and one of the best parts of this! It's fantastic for trimming the bikini line and actually shaves pretty close, but I don't get any irritation like I do with the wet shave. I haven't used any of the other add ons and to be honest, I'm not sure if I really will. I exfoliate in the shower with a loofa and not sure how this would fit into my routine. I also love the bag that comes with the epilator - it's really convenient and great for storing all of the items, and great for travel too.

This is a great multi functional device, that is easy to use, and removes hair smoothly and relatively painlessly. It's compact and good for travel and the wet/dry function makes it good value for money. The shaver/trimmer adaptor option is also very handy. A good product for body hair removal.

I am a big fan of Braun epilators and every series bring something unique and better. This Braun series 9/980 has 13 attachments and not only it gives you better hair removal but also the choice of exfoliation through 2 different exfoliating brush heads. There is a trimmer and shaver included too for extremely sensitive areas like bikini or underarms. This epilator has bigger head to cover maximum area and it glides so smoothly on skin. The green light indicates that it is fully charged and the red light shows that it is time to recharge it. The device is very sleek and light to hold easily for longer time. It is totally pain free and takes very less effort to get hair free silky smooth skin for almost 3-4 weeks. I use epilator all over body like arms, legs, back, under arms etc. and with time my skin has adjusted to it so nicely that I don't feel any pain or redness at all. This is again an exceptionally amazing product from Braun!
