This shaver was amazing. Been using it pretty much everyday as a clean shave is mandatory in my line of work. It took me a while to work out how the cleaning station worked as the instructions provided wasn't clear enough. i highly recommend for future Braun shaving products that come with a cleaning station to have a quick start guide. I'm thrilled with this shaver. They’ve improved so much compared to my existing shaver. It only needs charging for 1 hour, which is great. I’ve used it dry and it glides very easily over my face and gives a very close shave. I’ve also tried it wet and I got equally good results. This razor is genius, the self cleaning function is a wonderful addition and takes away the pain of always brushing hair away, it cuts perfectly and uniformly no matter what facial shape you have and leaves you feeling smooth and without razor rash. The docking station and charge indicator fits well with any bathroom, nice and sturdy, battery life is excellent. It truly is the best razor I have ever used. Pricey but you will not be disappointed with the results, even comes with a handy case

When I received the Braun, i was so excited to try this razor it looked like it had everything that i could ever want in a Razor. And I was not disappointed. Prefect first shave like having a wet shave with a razor. it gets to all the spots that other razors have always missed.Being able to use it wet or dry gives me added options. Braun’s Series 8 electric shaver is an excellent addition to the Braun Series, On using Series 8 8390cc I found the closeness of the shave is that of a normal wet shave, with its adjustable head to get to the most awkward of bristles of hair and also suitable for wet and dry shaves with a neat charging/cleaning station which can plug into any bathroom shaver attachment. The battery power is very good and the shaver can also be used cordless and comes with a travel case. Fine German engineering

Not shaved with a electric razor for over 30 years now as i much prefered a good old fashioned 5 blade razor wet shave.This product looks pretty amazing and i was really suprised it does the job really well and YES its a close as modern 5 blade razor blade.Im only 3 shaves in so far(4th will be tonight)and first time it probably took me roughly 10 minutes but this was due to getting cutting angle right etc,2nd and 3rd time was a lot quicker.Am i converted? well this will be with me on my travel

Comes in attractive packaging and is well packaged to protect it from damage. On unpacking the quality of the product was obvious from the first moment. Having finally removed erything it was time to try it out. Almost a full battery so no need to charge before giving it a go.Comfortable in hand and gives a good all round dry shave...however it does seem to give a little closer wet shave! Also easy to clean and comes with a pouch to protect when not being used. Highly recommended.

I have been using bladed razors for over 20 years and tried electic razors before and always left me with razor burn under my chin. I was worried this razor would do the same, I was very wrong! Dry shaving with this razor did leave me a little dry, however, after trying it in the sjower with a little shaving gel, i get amazing results! As good a shave as a bladed shave! Great to handle smooth shave not so close shave when having a wet shave but loved the dry shave. Not to keen on the recharge and clean box it sends out a low pitch humming sound that my wife does not like so I only use when I need to clean and charge apart from that little glitch still give it a 10 for my shave.

I charged the razor and used it dry for the first shave which i have to say was not great, quite sore and irritating on the skin leaving a rash, i went on line to look at reviews and noticed something i had not seen in the instruction manual and that was that it could be used to wet shave.
