It came very nicely packed and looked very posh! it suggested to charge it for 1 hr which is very short compared to others. first, I tried it dry shave - glides across the face easily, my clean perfect shave was atchieved just in 5 min. this a great razor and gives you a nice clean shave. the lcd display keeps you well informed on the charge. the cleaning station is a super feature ensuring your razor is kept fresh along with charging at the same time ensuring you are not caught short half way through the shave. the side burn trimmer is a great feature and works perfectly. produced a better shave than my other methods, concerns about the cleaning fluid being able to leak when the unit is moved could it cause issues with charging . I also don't seem to have as much stubble on days that I did not shave and I alternated from this razor to my other types on half my face to compare the difference, It also shaved properly my dimple/mole which other razors fail to do properly the series 8 definitely gets a thumbs up. Excellent presentation of everything. May be worth putting a UK adaptor in box too as dont have an electrical shaver outlet in bathroom. As for the shaver. Wow. Where do i begin. I nornally just trim and cery occasionally use a razor to shave. Using the braun series 8 for the first time has changed that. The shaver comes equipped with great features. A quick charge of an hour gives the advertised 90 minutes worth of shaving time. I've used it for the past week and it's still got plenty of charge left. The led display with phone like bars easily let's you know how much charge you have left. This shaver was a pleasure to use. I found it to be different to previous shavers in that the shaver head was of a floating variety which enabled a smoothe glide over the contours of my face. The daily grind of shaving was transformed by the ease of use of this particular shaver. A long battery life was a pleasant suprise as was the cleaning/charging station provided. Until now I was always little bit reluctant to use electric shaved but I tried the new brown series 8 and I am quite impressed. I used few times now and it is very easy to use. Did not irritate my skin, this was my main concern because I always get red and itchy skin after shaving. I love the base and the fact it will clean itself once you put it back in the base. Works well and great shave Really love this shaver and find that it produces the closest shave I can get but especially under nose and chin this gives me the very best shave. Do a dry pass followed by a wet shave use your foam or gel for wet shave which really promotes a silky smooth pass without too much foam or soap.Cleaning unit is excellent too but do a quick wet wash of blades after shave and leave to dry for a couple of hours.This review was collected as part of a promotion
