Found it deals with stubble well dry or wet, but if left to grow a bit more the stubble found it wasn’t as clean and took a few goes before it was clean. Do like the fact it can be washed and cleaned under a tap.

The problem is it doesn't shave you very well. If I leave 2 days of stubble I have to shave with this for about 15 minutes to get to the point where my face is a bit rough and then I have to quickly go over it with a wet razor so what is the point. Quite poor electric shaver, barely cuts. I was going over and over the same spots for what seemed an eternity but just would cut the hair. You can't get a close shave with this and I've gone back to wet shaving and I'm not the hairiest person. It's such a shame because the clipper part is actually OK not fantastic but the main thing it's supposed to do doesn't happen. Disappointed as braun are usually top notch and have had shavers in the past from them that are superb but unfortunately this time they got it wrong.

I find using it with a low foaming face wash really helps to get the best shave. Its a shame that the foil seems to go blunt so quickly. But other than that it’s a really good shaver!!!!

The hold is good due to its good shape which gives a firm hold. Shaving is smooth and results are good on dry skin. And cleaning under water is is safe and effective. Taken an hour to recharge and lasts for 2-3 shave. Only drawback is I guess finding a replacement head. But this is one of Brauns best in 3 series cost wise also taking into account its quality and longevity.
