The device is sleek and not too heavy and has a larger head for larger areas such as legs and a precision head for smaller areas such as chin and upper lip. It is important to shave before using (don't wax or pluck as this won't work), the razor provided came in handy for a smooth finish. I started with the lowest setting as I thought it may hurt but it doesn't so I had it on the highest setting. It's important to look away from the light. Results aren't immediate, I have used once so far but already hair is growing back more slowly and less prevalent so I can tell a slight difference already. Looking forward to using and seeing the final results and after that will just do maintenance with the device. Please note it's not suitable for every skin and hair type so only buy if you match the skin and hair criteria.

Nothing better than a product that does exactly what it says it will! The unit itself is really lightweight making it easy to hold & operate. It has a large head for larger areas and a separate precision head ideal for the top lip etc. it’s completely pain free even on the highest setting, & now after 2 months my hairs are barely growing at all. So impressed!

The quality is great as always with Braun products, sturdy and good quality materials. It comes with different heads to use from head to toe. It comes in a bag which feels really luxurious by touch. When using the machine, I use sunglasses and not watch the light as it’s very bright! The pain is much more bearable than an epilator. It’s easy to use if you read the descriptions first! I’m glad I don’t have to use my epilator again as it was oh so painful. Make sure to check if your skin tone and hair colour is right for this device! Highly recommend to those who pays lots of money at a salon too as you can save money with this!

Use it weekly to start and I am on my 4th week and the hair growth after a week is minimal. If continued use of only 4 weeks can result in my legs looking like they don’t need shaving I can only imagine how using it longer will mean even slower growth and it will get to only having to shave/use this once a month. So happy with the results. The machine itself is very easy to use and comfortable to hold even for longer periods. I also find it totally painless, but I do have a pretty high pain tolerance. Fantastic and worth the price.

I've heard so many positive reviews and finally got hold of one. First impressions are that is really lightweight and easy to hold and use. This model comes with 3 attachments, standard, wide and precision heads, and a really nice storage bag. It's really simple to use and has a smart sensor so it can adapt to skim colour. It is a corded model and has a really long swivel cord, so it doesn't get in the way. You simply shave your hair first and then able to use the IPL. It works by damaging the root of the hair so overtime it slows and reduces hair growth. It doesn't hurt and is completely pain free. I've been using it for a few weeks now and slowly my hair has started to become a bit patchy. I can't wait to see the long term results.

I felt daunted at first, so my main advice is READ the instructions properly and fully before you jump in. Once you do it isn't so daunting. It's a simple button press and then keeping the two sensors on your skin. I find it really easy to run it slowly up my legs. The flash is very bright so try not to look at it directly (takes practice!) I felt a warmness for about an hour after on my skin but no burning or soreness at all. I've used it three times now and the hair is already growing in sparser and slower. I have found it slightly trickier to use on my underarms but again it takes practice and I'm getting better at it as I go along. If you have issues there is a great troubleshooting bit in the instruction booklet that I found really helpful. I am definitely recommending!

You can tell it's well made and good quality. I have never done IPL before so I was a bit nervous but the instructions were good and it was super easy. It didn't feel painful at all to me but I do have a super duper pain threashd, maybe a bit like like a 'zap' feeling but really not bad at all. I love that it came with a razor, saved me having to go find one. I haven't used it enough to see a difference in hair growth yet but everything else is great!

I was surprised about how easy it was to use and very pleased that I didn't feel a thing when using it only the device getting warm. I have only used it on my legs so far but will be using it on my bikini line and armpits. I have used it twice so far and have had no adverse reactions and look forward to completing the treatment with great results

Fantastic choice of attachments (different sizes) making the process even easier. Product does not burn at all, a nice warming sensation if anything. Too soon the day of the IPL actually works as you’re supposed to repeat the process gradually over time but more than happy so far!
