A five minute charge is sufficient for a shave if you accidentally left it to discharge. It give a good close shave similar to all electric shavers, which is not as close as a wet shave but given the convenience and speed is very good. With this, and all electric shavers I've owned, this means that a second shave is needed if you are going out in the evening and have a dark beard. This Braun does the job really well and for a really good price - not much more than it would cost to buy a few packs of wet-shave blades, and almost the same as a replacement foil if you already own an electric shaver. An issue to keep in mind if you do switch from wet shave to electric. Don't scrub hard with foil shavers like this Braun; instead, move the shaver lightly over the stubble back and forth. Heavy pressure doesn't help and will bend the foils. If you still find it not shaving you properly, don't give up on electric. You might have the kind of beard that responds best to the different Philishave system. With these I've found that a circular hard scrubbing pressure works well - which is something you just can't do with foil shavers. Both work well for me and the Braun is much lighter and smaller - so gets my vote.

It's not perfect, and having tried it on various days worth of beard growth anything over 3 days is pretty uncomfortable, but, if you shave everyday or every couple of days then this is ideal. So much less faff than wet shaving with a lot less mess especially with it being so easy to clean, just run it under the tap! Not only is it quicker, cleaner and less hassle than wet shaving it's also far more cost effective when you consider the cost of decent razors. So overall I'd very much recommend giving this a go.

Left it for a full charge, after a 2 days of none shaving I was slightly anxious to attack my now slightly hobo looking growth with the 300s, but I was pleasantly surprised! I took to the shower as I normally would and the 3 independent pressure sensitive elements of the shaving head might pretty light work of the hair, I struggled to get a 100% clean shave around the knobbly areas of my chin and jaw line, but other than that I was pretty pleased, I didn't have any razor burn! it's a definite staple part of my travel toiletry bag! amazing value from the number 1s in the shaving world!

There is about £200 difference in price between the two. The cut is just as smooth and close. It just doesn't clean itself etc. If I want something to take on holiday or a short trip this is perfect for the price too. I would rate the Braun series of shavers to anyone. But the 7 just beats the 3 because of the detail cutters and cleaning station that's it. I would still say I would rather a three pin plug as I still find it difficult in this day and age to find a shaver socket anywhere. I really like the look to this shaver too. They are starting to look a little futuristic and snazzy. The grip is great and very ergonomic. Go and try one at this low price and step up to the better ones.

First thing is how attractive it looks. It is smart, inovative and slick whilst sat on my bathroom shelf. It is also very comfortable to hold, something I often find with Braun products. When using the product, there is no tugging on your stubble whatsoever. It's so smooth running across your face, it almost feels like you are combing, not shaving. It comes with a protective cap to keep it nice and clean and safe. You can plug this into your bathroom shaver port at 2 different powers (100-240). You get a solid grip on the razor and therefore you can be confident on the precision of your shave. This is the perfect razor for your everyday shave. It holds charge really well and can be used whilst plugged in. The 3 pressure-sensitive shavings elements make shaving in awkward angles and areas much easier. It will glide over your jawline making sure it eradicated ever hair on its way through. Very happy!

It doesn't nick you like other razors I've had. It leaves me with a smooth face that pleases my wife, no more stubble or having to redo areas again. Feels light weight and easy to grip while I'm rushing around the house in the morning getting ready trying to multi task. So far it has a great battery life, only have to charge it for 5mins in the morning to last a full shave. With a proper charge overnight it lasted 4/5days. It's easy to clean, just stick it under the tap and rinse it, my only criticism is I wish it came with a small brush to help clean it. I would recommend this razor to anyone.

When I clean shaved, sometimes I would a rash, cut myself or sometimes dry skin, none of that occurred when I used the Braun Series 3 Electric razor. It was also so easy to clean and the battery lasted for ages without a charge and the fact it was cordless was also great as I have no power sockets in my bathroom!! Would definitely recommend this product :)

Having tried this with one / two day old growth the shaver was effortless in being able to remove this growth, its not quite as close as some other shavers and it did leave small amounts of stubble behind, but for the most part was great. The shave was smooth, there was little to no pulling of the hairs as it glided over, and being someone who has sensitive skin I was pleased to see it left behind no redness on my face, something which I experience a lot with other shavers. Battery life is great, after 10 minutes charging time it was good for a couple of shaves. When fully charged gives more than a weeks usage. Cleaning the shaver after use is quick and easy, and since the shaver is water proof you're able to run this under the tap and its a good as new, or use the shaver in the shower.
