[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive (coupon, discount, free sample, sweepstakes, contest with raffle etc).] Being the sort of 'in a rush' bloke who finds shaving the constant bane of his life, I will cut to the chase and simply say this electric shaver was something of a revelation. Previous experiences have failed to do the job efficiently, requiring multiple sweeps of the facial area, and eventual resignation to the fact my neck will never be clear of hair. However, with this shaver I was able to achieve this seeming unreachable goal, and do so with ease. The three, individually hinged, trimmers at first seemed something of a gimmick. Is three razors really going to be better than one? If I was a betting man I'd have said no. I would have lost the bet. Awkward to reach areas, unconventional facial contours and that space under the ear lobes did nothing to slow this bad boy down. The shave is close, and hand run over the skin (the manly way to test this) will tell you it's comparable to a good wet shave in this area. Initially I felt somewhat exposed, years have passed since my face was this close to the air. I was initially left dumbfounded by the lack of a cleaning brush, confused that such a product would omit such an essential tool. 30 seconds of reading however and it's clear that there is no need. The product is waterproof and cleaning is a simple process of unclipping the head and rinsing it under the tap. Another pro point (although this model is not suitable for shaving in the shower/bath). Charging time is quick, and after a week of regular shaving the motor still seems to running at full efficiency with no in-between charge. If ever the need arose though, it runs quite happily while plugged into the mains. It can apparently detect and adjust to the current from the socket it's been plugged into, and while I couldn't be sure, it seems to run fine from either outlet. The look is sleek, and the design comfortable to hold. Small things, but important with something you intend to use every day. If there's any negative here it's the lack of a trimmer normally found on the top of these devices. It's hardly the end of the world, and I suppose far batter to it does the one job well, but it would perhaps be best to wait a moment before chucking the rest of your shavers in the bin, particularly if you like to style your facial fluff. Overall though, highly recommended, does everything it's supposed to and exceeds in quality it does it. Go forth, and shave well.

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive (coupon, discount, free sample, sweepstakes, contest with raffle etc).] When i got the product, I was looking forward to trying a different way of shaving. I tend to go for the stubbly look, and occassionally will shave with a razor as my skin is quite sensitive. My main choice of shaver is to use a beard trimmer. Key questions for me before using the product was, where can i get it? The answer in most recognisable outlets, when i searched online it bought up 15 well known retailers and i could see it was at a reasonable price between £29.99 and £39.99 depending where you shopped. Another question was, how would it be against my skin, i had only used a foil razor once some time ago and i found it too feel quite prickly and feel like it was plucking out my hair one by one. The answer on this occassion was the same, as it run against my hairs it felt like it was pulling each individual one out, and when i tried being a bit lighter on pressing on my skin it seemed to remove nothing. This was my first experience of a foil razor for some time and I was sold on the line -3 pressure-sensitive shaving elements for efficiency and skin comfort, hoping this would make for a smoother less prickly experience. Prior to use, I allowed my facial hair to naturally grow as it would before i shave as standard. From the picture attached, i shaved around my neck for 10 minutes and very little hair was removed, if you look closely some came off on one side. I am going to give it another go as with no weeks stubble and see if this is more a daily shaver than something for a person like me who will shave up to a couple times a week. For quick facial hair growth people who leave it for a few days, this first try was hugely unsuccessful and painful.

It was great that it came fully charged and it charges up again quickly. On a small amount of stubble the shaver gives a close shave quickly, but on anything longer it takes a bit of time to get rid of all the hair and make it tidy. As I usually shave once a week it probably won't be my regular shaver, but if I ever need to have a quick tidy up it will come in useful.

The razor is great to use, it gives a really close shave, which I struggle to find from other electric razors on the market. The battery is great, and the charge time is reasonable. It is very easy to use. However, I have cut myself twice, something which I thought was near on impossible to do with an electric razor. I think the piece in the middle of the blade is what did it. The cutting is a big con for me, as this is what I don't like about manual wet shaving.

I already own another Braun so I had something to compare to! The shaver is rechargeable so no need to rely on batteries. The charge after decent use lasted for around 1-2 weeks before it needed recharging. The great benefit of it being rechargeable is that it's cordless so very portable. The weight is no bother at all and it fits great into the palm of your hand. What's good about this Braun is that the shaver foils rotate left and right which allow follow the contour of your facial structure, it also allowed me to get into tight spots under my nose where it's hard to shave! The foils are waterproof as I've washed the remaining hair out. The only minor issue I have found is that sometimes when gliding along the face, the foils can latch onto random hair and rather than cut, they pull out the hair which obviously gives you jump. I've rated it 4/5 because compared to my other braun, I felt it was missing something. Probably because I'm used to the side burner trimmer which is on my other product. I would expect this to be lower priced than what I paid for my original. Obviously

Worked really well dry but even better when used wet. Only loses one star as it didn't come with a euro plug so I wasn't going to risk it running out mid shave so had to wait a day to get adapter to try it. It was fully charged and holds its charge well.

Unboxing the shaver i could see that it came with a Smart plug for automatic 100-240 voltage adjustment which is definitely good if you are a traveller. It came fully charged and with a set of instructions. I first used the shaver dry will i had a medium growth. I was in so much pain as it stuck to every little hair possible. I decided to stop using it and use my other shaver to take most of the hair away. I then used the Braun Series 3 300s electric razor on a daily basis to stop myself having any hair growth and it was much better to use. There was no irritation felt and it was quick and easy to complete my whole face in the morning. I could have done with a pop up trimmer for my sideburns. I would definitely use again especially while traveling as it is lightweight and easy to keep clean with the protection cap. As much as i liked the Braun Series 3 300s electric razor i don't quite think I'll be using it as my everyday shaver but again it's handy for traveling and as a spare as long as you haven't not shaved within a few weeks otherwise it will a sore shave.

This shaver is so smooth and sleek, doesn't tug at you're hair, no chance of cutting yourself and leaves you with a nice smooth clean finish. No rashes atall. The razor part unclipped easily and can we rinsed clean after each use. Easy charge function just plug and go, charge time was amazing and lasts!. The shaver it's self looks very smart and definitely how a shaver should be with technology being so advanced this day and age. I'd recommend this product to all ages don't be put off because it's electric it's simple and effective and cost saving in the long run! :)

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive (coupon, discount, free sample, sweepstakes, contest with raffle etc).] I've used several electric razors over the years and if I'm honest none of them were as good as a standard razor so my out look on the Braun series 3 300s wasn't a good one until I tried it, and I was shocked how close it gets and just where you can get to with it it reaches the hard to get to places on the face and is nearly as close as a standard razor, so for me I'm never going back to a standard razor again.
