I've had a Philips shaver for around 5 years which I thought was 'okay' but since opening this one from Braun, I could feel a night and day difference! The ergonomics are perfect, feels very well made, it's very quiet, and has a few settings for face and body which is a nice bonus which I didn't know it had! It's like going from a smart car to a Ferrari. Comes with a few dedicated heads for face and hair and variable length heads as well as ear/nose and even eyebrow heads which will come in handy. A quick 5 min charge gives enough battery for a full face shave so this will definitely help when I've forgot to put it on charge of an evening! All in all, great value for money and a definite step up in quality, would recommend.

[This review was submitted after receiving a free sample]. I am incredibly satisfied with this device because it has all the features that I need. Among other things, it works great as a hair clipper for my son because he has coarse hair and these hairs always used to escape somewhere. Here, absolutely not a single hair escaped and it cut very precisely; it took me half the time that I usually have to spend to cut his hair. In addition, I can use this device as a shaver, a trimmer to shave my beard, and for trimming my beard and hair. Most importantly, it is a lightweight device, very solid, handy, and very quiet. This is important because my four-year-old son is terribly afraid of the noise of hair clippers, and with this shaver, I didn't have such a problem. I highly recommend it, well worth its price.
