I had been using the Braun Series 9 Pro+ very successfully after having switched from life long wet shaving due to a medical condition. I was excited to read the claims made for the Nevo and purchased a bundle within days of the release. In particular the claim that it would be gentler on the skin was the main attraction. I was using the Series 9 Pro+ in the shower and really liked the fact I could lock the shaver head firmly in place rather than have it 'floating' On first using the Nevo I realised that this function had been removed and it can only be used with the head 'floating'. Having used the Nevo in the shower as I did with the previous model my verdict is that this has been a backward step instead of the positive one I anticipated. Quite frankly I do not think it shaves nearly as well as the Series 9 Pro+ and there is no discernible difference in the comfort. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend the Nevo.
