Braun Series 5 50-B1200s Electric Shaver

I had to replace my previous Braun shaver when the batteries would not take a charge. I had owned it happily for over ten years. From early on the new Braun S5 proved troublesome; the cut was fine but the battery life was very short. I am now lucky to get more than two cuts from it before it needs connecting to the mains supply. Having put up with this for just over two years I am so disappointed with the razor I want to replace it but cannot bring myself to buy another Braun ever again.

It simple and easy to use and glides am smoothly across my face, leaving for a clean even shave.

First thing I noticed when I took this out the box is just how stylish it looked. I was very impressed with the design, it fit perfectly in my hands and was very comfortable to hold. When it came to the performance it didn't disappoint either! I was able to get a very close shave both in and out of the shower. The attachments were okay, but I could have done with a few more options.

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive (coupon, discount, free sample, sweepstakes, contest with raffle etc).] As far as electric shavers go this delivers, works well for both a dry and wet shave and gives a relatively close shave and is smooth which is the main thing, I haven't had any nicks from using it. The precision attachment works well for any neck lines you want to define. The battery life is pretty good and lasts a few weeks depending how often you use it.

I’ve been using this product for the past 2 weeks now and it works well over all areas of the face with the flexible head working well over the skin and locking it in place across the moustache and sides. It’s very close and consistent shave and even after multiple runs across the face to shave it right back it never leaves me sore. The attachments are interchangeable very easily and therefore allows very easy cleaning. The materials used feel premium and make for easy operation. Good accessories included all round!

The convenience of electric shavers had always been compromised for me by patchy performance but this Braun Series 5 is on another level. Brilliantly close shave, especially in the shower and no worrying about annoying nicks from a razor. So easy to clean under the tap with no beard dust to be seen even when using for a dry shave! Holds it's charge for ages too. Couldn't imagine myself going back to a blade after trying this.

It is easy to use and easy to clean afterwards. It comes with a handy blade protector and cleaning brush as well as a trimmer. The main drawback I found with the shaver is that it did take me a lot longer to shave compared to using my regular razor however as said before it does give a closer shave than my razor does. Overall I’m really impressed and would recommend to others.

This electric, wet & dry razor is a real handy Precision Trimmer attachment which allows me to shave some of the more stronger areas of beard growth before I do my wet shave. Its three flexible blades give good control and allows it to glide effortlessly over all areas of my face. It cleans up pretty easily and has a decent battery life, which is always a big plus for me. As a first time owner of a Braun product, I am impressed and would buy again :)

Great that you can use wet and dry and both give great results on face and in neck hair. Would highly reccomend this product for an effortless close shave
