Unplug the unit to disconnect it and then press on the rounded button at the back. This will allow the cleaning centre to pop up from its base. Pull the used cleaning cartridge out. The replacement one will now be able to slide in horizontally. You will feel it has lodged correctly once it has been pushed in far enough. Keeping the SmartCare Centre flat, now push it back down onto the refill below until you hear a click. Further cartridges are available from the Series 9 shaving accessories collection.
