First time I've ever used an electric razor as I've been used to using a manual one for quite a number of years. It's not a bad bit of kit but the only issue is that you have to go over certain areas to get a somewhat decent result. A massive plus point is that I've learnt that it's less abrasive in your face as it doesn't pull it and it's good for sensitive skin. It's only my first day using it and I'm quite hopeful to get a better result once I'm used to using it. Still recommend it to other people without a doubt.

I have bought this item a couple of weeks ago. It turned out, it wasn't up to my expectations. All the reviews on Braun Shop website are positive (4 and 5 starts), so I thought this shaver might be good, especially given the price. This is actually my second attempt to post a review here. My previous 1-star review wasn't published (even after I contacted Customer Support Team). Hopefully, this review will get through. The charging post is small and does not fit fully into the shaver, so you have to be careful to ensure the contact is good when charging it. As a beard trimmer this item is frankly bad: you have to maintain certain angle between your skin and the blade, otherwise the trimmed hair length will be different. I ended up with patches of almost naked skin, and this wasn't the first time I was trimming my beard. The head for clean shave a kind of works but I had to scrub my skin for a long time to achieve what I could have achieved with a cartridge razor in one go. It just doesn't pick up all the hair. I would expect much better performance for such a steep price.

I hoped to have comfortable shaving with this item, but it turned out that it is not very good as beard trimmer and is even less apt for clean shave. It misses hair at random places and I have to rub my skin several times at the same place to shave it. I tried different heads included in the package, and it looks like you have to make sure the angle between the razor and your skin must always be the same otherwise the hair will be cut at different length. It is very difficult to maintain same length of hair when trimming beard. I ended up with almost clean patches randomly located on my face and had to shave it all clean just to make it look normal. That is when I found out that this shaver is not very good for clean shaving as well. The charging stand included with this item is a small one, not the one you might have see in the photos, it's not very stable and the shaver is not locked properly when charging, so it is easy to drop it accidentally. Don't waste your money on this shaver.
