At last I found a long beard trimmer (which cuts to less than 20 mm) where I am not disappointed! The Braun BT5060 has superb autonomy, very quiet, and more importantly, very effective. The cutting guides are well adapted (0.5 mm by 0.5 mm up to 10 mm, then 2 mm by 2 mm between 10 and 20 mm), it is particularly convenient for the longer moustache and beard (which is my case). Finally the beard trimmer is easy to clean, what's more to ask? I recommend without hesitation.

I’ve had quite a few electronic beard shavers and trimmers in the past – This is by far most precise. its not cheap, but you are paying for what you get with this one. At its barest (i.e. without any of the combs attached) it is a pretty good shaver. Using any the adjustable attachment I have used 20mm then 5mm & both were even & precise. It has a long range of length's & also comes with a Gillette fusion shaver & 2 blades which is great! I soaked it to clean it, without any issues. Overall I think if you are looking for a bog-standard beard trimmer this probably isn’t the one for you but if you want a versatile trimmer and shaver which will cover all bases and last a few good years then you could do a lot worse than go for this!

This product does wonders, I had needed a nice clean shave and it ticked all of my boxes of preferences. It makes my beard look incredibly clean and smoothly shaved (even my friends asked me what shaver I use), it doesn't pluck a few strands of my hair like a few other trimmers I've used before which is great because then I won't have to go through the pain. The quality of the trimmer is great because it looks well made and I personally think its easy to use.

This shaver was really impressive and surprisingly easy to use. The various grades dial made bread trimming so much easier and quicker, not having to constantly change attachments is much more convenient. The attachments made shaving simple, neat and precise. The blades were sharp and didn't pull or catch the hair at all, by far the quickest and best beard shaver I have ever owned. The clean up was also a really easy and simple as you only need to wash under the tap. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a carry case to keep the various bits in.

This beard trimmer is fantastic. It has an even cut and 31 different length settings. Strings te simple to change as well as the heads for precision cut. All in all I would definitely recommend this product

This product has great amount of cutting lengths which are excellent as it not only does your beard but also does your hair which is good for people that their hairs grow back quick. Straight forward to use with easy to move settings dial so you can get the cut you want and its very precise and you even get a Gillette pro glide to finish the look off. Great fast charging feature means you don't have to wait hours before you can use this product and the waterproofing means you can use it in the shower without any problems.

While 39 length settings may seem a little too much I found myself trying a few different styles which I seldom do. Each setting and style works incredibly well and and I’m afforded plenty of options when it comes to trimming flyaways as well as a full on style and shape. At around £60 this is by no means the most expensive trimmer out there - not is it the cheapest - but in the three years I’ve been growing and styling my beard, this is easily the best performing one I’ve come across. I’d easily recommend this trimmer for both value and performance alone.
