This feels comfortable in the hand and is easy to grip in different ways making the whole shaving experience much better. The twin foils and cutter in the middle give a good clean cut that's close to the skin. The shaver itself charges quickly and holds enough charge for a few shaves so battery life is excellent. The foil heads are easily removed making cleaning nice and easy. The only real downside I have found is that there is no trimmer function. Usually I would use this to trim my sideburns but without this it isn't so easy to get that clean and dead straight line I like. All in all, a great product!

This is the best electric shaver I have used by far. Taking a week's growth down to a close shave was a little time consuming, but after that a daily shave was quick and easy. No irritation and no struggle to get a close shave. It's light and easy to handle and the battery lasts well. I'd recommend this to anyone who has suffered similar dilemmas to me in the past and wants to start with a good value electric shaver. There is one enhancement that I would suggest, which is available on the slightly upgraded version (still in the series 3)... The trimmer on the rear would be useful for tidying sideburns and catching weird ingrowing hairs, so probably worth paying a touch extra for.

Its very difficult to be blown away by the quality of shave when you're used to a cutthroat, but for something you can use whilst getting dressed, making coffee and running out the door, its very good and i didn't find myself going over the same area over and over. If wet shaving isn't your thing or you don't have time, this is a really good option. I used an electric pre-shave but also tried without and its pretty smooth and comfortable without. The battery life was better than i expected and charging time isn't excessive. It's also a light shaver, easy to handle and use. My own personal preference is to wet shave with a straight razor, but if i'm on a business trip or a weekend away, this is in my bag and i'd probably get another for my desk drawer in the office just in case!

I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and feel like I can give a fair evaluation of it. I'll start by pointing out some of the negatives. I am only mentioning these to give a full picture, by no means are these deal breakers, or in any way true annoyances. - My first impression was that the razor does tug at your facial hair, which can be a little uncomfortable. My conclusion after using it for a few days was that it is really best used as an every day razor and only for very short (i.e. one day) beard growth. This way it keeps the tugging to a minimum. - The unit vibrates a fair bit in your hand. Personally, this is not a problem for me, but may be a consideration, if this sort of thing bothers you. - I found that you have to go over the same area quite a few times to get a completely clean shave. I think this is an issue inherent with foil shavers though, and shouldn't be a problem unless you have particularly sensitive skin. Now the good bits! - The Braun 300s gives a very close and clean shave, almost on a par with a wet shave! - It's completely washable, so no need for messy brushes, just pop the blade attachment off, rinse with water and let it dry. Very convenient! - It seems to have a long battery life, only charged it once when I got it, and haven't needed to recharge in over 2 weeks with pretty much daily use! In conclusion, I am happy with the device and will probably continue using it for a long time, especially as I usually sport a 3-4 day stubble look, so the Braun is great as a complimentary razor to shave everything below the jaw line to give that clean, well groomed look. Equally, I would not have a problem using it for an alternative to wet shaving for a daily full clean shave.

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive (coupon, discount, free sample, sweepstakes, contest with raffle etc).] I have been using this shaver for several weeks now.  It doesn't take long to charge which is handy if you need to use it quickly before going out!  It's light and easy to use and gives me the close smooth shave I like apart from my neck where it doesn't seem to catch the hairs.  My skin can be quite sensitive and this shaver didn't irritate my skin, no cuts, no rashes, it works for me.  It is easy to clean with being able to rinse under water.  My previous shaver I could not do that.  This is definitely a shaver I will recommend to friends and family.

The protective cap does it's job also acts a bit of a length trimmer as if you're look to just trim your beard or top lip. without the cap it cuts quite well have to go over the place once or twice to get a clean shave (depending on length of your beard) it charges really quick has a green light at the front below the buttom to show its full. button is simple press to start press to stop. its water proof so using in the shower is handy.

It was a continental 2 pin. I started to shave and felt a little bit of pulling on the longer hairs. After I had shaved the longer hairs with a manual razor, i started again with the shaver and it felt smoother. So I think that it is more beneficial for short stubble rather than abit longer beards. Although it gave me a good shave, it is a little loud and bulky compared to other branded razors/shavers.

The shaver is easy to grip and very easy to operate. The charging indicator is very easy and straight forward to follow also its quick to charge and with the shaver being waterproof it is easy to clean. Unfortunately, this doesn't come with any cleaning brush which would make cleaning a bit more easier. The shaver struggles with long hair more suited for stubble consider adding a small trimmer to solve this problem.

After having tried it for the first time I must say that it isn't the best shaver in the range, or even on the market (It doesnt shave longer stubble very well), but having said that it does what it says on the tin, and for the price its retailing at I would say that its a great first electric razor at an affordable price.
