Nothing special about this to be honest. Really wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless it’s on offer and cheap and your out of town and need a quick device for quick trim.

Wrong! I have a had quite a few Braun shavers, and as my beard is course and grows quick I tend to upgrade every year or two. I was disappointed by this upgrade as the blade feels soft on my skin, doesn’t pull my hairs, cuts cleanly, and stops me having to repeatedly go over an area that I’ve already cut! The shaver lasts around 50 mins or so and quickly charges which is a win win for me as I’m generally travelling all the time so it’s nice to drop it in the nice travel pouch provided after a very quick clean with the cleaning brush etc provided. If you looking for a great ergonomically manufactured shaver which is lightweight, shaves VERY well, wet or dry and has some nice features such as display and ability to give a really close and precision cut then this is really the product you need to get as it ticks those boxes for me.

From when you take it out of the box you can see it oozes luxury . This shaver has a trimmer attached as well as a ergonomic design which means it fits right into my hand .As soon as you switch it on you, it as if by magic glides along your skin effortlessly. For use on both wet and dry skin I found that this left my skin soft , smooth and hair free. I love the fact it means that I only ever need one product when travelling. The shaver is easy to clean and has a 5 min quick charge feature which is amazing if you are in a rush . Overall I love this and would definitely recommend it!

Functional and smart in design and fairly idiot proof to use. Gives a good shave and cuts close. Unfortunately for me, despite following all the tips/precautions, each time I used it I experienced skin irritation. My skin is not particularly sensitive and I can razor shave without issue but it clearly didn’t like the electric razor! Shame really because it’s a lot quicker and more convenient to use.

With those I always ended up sore, cut skin and rashes. This was my first Braun and I am genuinely impressed with the results. It cuts very close to the skin and I have no rashes or cuts at all. This may be because technology has improved with electric razors as to has the hygiene of them thanks to the self cleaning station. It’s fast, feels well made and powerful. There is absolutely no plucking. It does feel slightly warm when using it for more than 10 mins (I’m slow) which I quite like. After all who wants to feel a freezing cold mental against their face? I have used it both dry and with foam and both are comfortable. The closeness of the shave slightly better with foam but not by much. Monday to Friday I just dry shave now. Nothing can match a wet razor, but this comes close. My reason for purchasing it was because in the week when getting up for work I often cannot be assed with wet shaving. Simply turn it on and start shaving. Done. No mess. No hairs on my nice white shirt. One downside is, it’s very noisy. So if you were planning on using this in your en-suite and not waking up your other half it probably won’t work. I use mine in the main bathroom and I haven’t woken up the house as of yet. Perhaps it’s because at 4am everything seems louder than it really is? Something else I’d like to mention that is often overlooked is that shaving isn’t a pleasure to me. Tugging of skin. Being wet and cold. Nicks and cuts. With this it’s actually enjoyable to an extent. Of course making me looking professional and clean shaved for the day ahead. It’s sometimes nice when giving myself a wet shave at the weekend to run the Gillette over it for some super smooth skin but this isn’t really needed unless you’re as fussy as me.

Firstly it has cut my shaving time in half by not having to go over the same area over and over again. Secondly it gets such a close shave that it still looks good on day 3 & 4 so I have the option of sometimes only shaving once a week. The best thing about this shaver though has got to be the battery power. Not only does one charge last what seems like forever, it also comes with its own power case that means if you get short you can charge it on the go. Would definitely recommend!

It offers a clean, neat shave every single time. Perfect for everyday use, especially those looking for a quick shave before work. I have sensitive skin and having used this for 3 weeks now I haven’t felt irritation once. The packaging is of high quality as well as the charging stand. It looks very slick and fits in nicely to my bathroom. They also provide a travel case, which is perfect for weekends away or when I'm travelling for work. The shaver is very easy to use and has charging bars that light up in different sections to let you know when it’s ready for use. It even makes a little noise when you first put it on charge. It’s very hard to fault this shaver - I would highly recommend!

I am impressed with the revolutionary design, particularly the sonic gliding technology and the Prolift trimmer. The precision switch lock is another positive feature which gives flexibility to the pivoting shaver head and locks it in desired angle for better control. This new device gives a new experience to shaving. Another plus point is the side burn trimmer which is essential for me. I have been using this for both wet and dry close shave. So easy to remove the head to clean and snaps back in place comfortably. Great piece to take to travel with the lock function on and within the attractive solid case. Have charged only and still using during second week, with frequency of shave every second or third day. Cannot fault at this stage and intend to use this shaver for a long time.

It even cuts through thicker stubble quickly and efficiently. The head moves smoothly to allow you to get to the harder to reach areas. It is very powerful so it doesn’t tug on the hairs. The precision trimmer on the back is really useful and gives you a nice clean line. It feels great in the hand and has a nice rubber grip on the back. It also charges super quick and lasts about an hour once fully charged which can be checked with the bright led display on the front. The stand is also really handy for quickly docking when you’ve finished with it. The included case has a hard shell which protects it well while travelling. It’s also very easy to clean, all you need to do is pop the head off using the 2 buttons either side of it. Overall it’s a very powerful shaver that gives you a close, precise shave every time.
