The added bonus to this shaver too is you can still take it away when your going for overnight stays without the dock and use with just the wire, comes with a good travel case for the shaver too

Not quite as close as a razor but very nearly the same! Solid build quality with lots of reassuring metal components as well.

I always struggled with close shaving as i used to have bad shaving rash. This has eliminated this altogether. Amazing how close i can get and my face was smooth. The head really hugs the contours of my face, and when used to go completely shaven, my face felt the same if not smoother than if I’d had a wet shave. Comes with a charging and cleaning dock which is a cool feature, and means the razor is really clean every time to go to use it. Overall, incredibly effective, smooth and quiet shaver, would recommend to anyone.

The product came carefully packaged, in a nice box. The quality of the product is at a very high standard, worth every penny. The battery lasts for a very long time, you operate the shaver very easily and you clean it just as easily. The shaver shaves very accurately and quickly, you don't have to spend a long time in front of the mirror. The product is very precise, I have never had such a good shaver. I highly recommend it to every man.

The shave is impressively close and comfortable — it glides effortlessly over the skin, even around tricky areas like the jawline and neck. The new ProHead feels more efficient and gentle compared to older models, and the performance on both wet and dry shaving is excellent.

It offers a very close shave with no irritation. You can have a wet or dry shave as it’s waterproof. It has a built in sensor which adjusts shaving power according to beard density. It comes with a charging cable, travel case, cleaning brush, smartcare centre (to clean) and cleaning fluid. The shaver has an extra built in precision protrimmer at the rear which activates via a button. It charges very quickly and has a 60 minute run time. The head swivels but can be locked in position via a button at the front. There is a digital display which is useful for keeping an eye on battery power as well as other functions. The inclusion of the cleansing unit is a big plus as it means that the shaver remains hygienic. I am so impressed with the Braun electric shaver.

I treated this razor like I would my normal one and it did the job in a fraction of the time. I might have been a bit careless with it as I did have a bit of razor burn afterwards, but I put this down to having never used a razor this powerful before and not knowing I didn't need multiple pass overs like my normal razor, so this is likely down to my own over-zealousness. The trimming razor on the back is a bit rubbish though, given it's size I found it really hard to keep straight lines where I wanted my facial hair to end. As someone who does like to keep facial hair, I found it really disappointing that there are absolutely no attachments for hair trimming, as I could imagine that a razor this good could give you some wonderfully even trimming. As it stands, the part of my face that I do shave clean feels very smooth and some of my more stubborn and smaller hairs were cut well. The charging and cleaning station is absolutely huge and did not fit inside the cabinet where I normally keep my razor charger. If space is an economy, I could see this being more of a burden. The self cleaning function is really neat but I'm not sure it's worth the space the stand hogs. Overall, at the specific job of close shaving it, it's absolutely unparalleled to the razors I've used, but this is really geared exclusively to people who want an all over clean shave. For people like me who keep facial hair, you sadly can't use this to replace a trimmer, and I think it's a real shame because the quality and power is outstanding. If that is what you're after though, and if you have the space to house the cleaning station, this is seriously impressive.

It’s easy to hold, gentle on the face, and the SmartCare Center cleans and charges it automatically. My partner was very happy.
