Clean the shaver head in hot water after use and allow it to aerate until it has dried. You can then brush off any remaining hair with the supplied cleaning brush. Store the shaver in its case for protection between uses and replace the head once it dips in performance. A new one every 18 months is about right.

Can I use the 9610si shaver while it's plugged in?

No, because it is designed for use in the bathtub or shower and is 100% waterproof, the Series 9 PRO shaver range will not operate when it is plugged in. It only takes five minutes to recharge it from flat for enough power to shave with, though.
