I have the ideal pale skin/dark hair combo, and I've been using this atleast once a week for around 3 months now. I've seen little to no results, I think that the hair might be growing back a little slower - but not enough for it to be useful and it's definitely still there! I'm very disappointed as this was a huge investment for me, but can't say I'm all that surprised! If something like this actually worked everyone would have one, whereas reality is noone I've spoken to has even heard of it.

The best product ever for women!! I could see the results after 3 weeks honestly but yeah i`m also not a hairy person. Anyway, i`m already at 5 weeks and it`s feels amaizing. Such a difference, hair still grows but very slow and very little and I no longer have irritations after epilation like i used to have in few areas of the body. This product saved my life and i truly recomend it

I have always just shaved and this becomes a chore when it has to be done every so often. Brain machine has reduced the times I have to do this over the weeks. When I first got this product I must admit I was very sceptical of how good it would be, but after 5 weeks of using it i can honestly say I have noticed a definite reduction in hair growth. I no longer have to shave every time I hop in the shower now. Some bits are a little more sensitive than others but overall it works on any bit of hair you are looking at reducing. Once you get the hang of it then it is really easy to use. The product itself is beautifully designed and it comes in a stylish carry case. I would 100% recommend this product. I am extremely happy with the results.

Having used the Silk expert Pro 5 IPL for approx 5 weeks, I am thrilled to say that hands down the product exceeds any expectations i had for it. Its such an easy machiene and having used it on my arms and legs I've found a huge reduction in hair growth already. Its very easy to use and i would certainly reccomend it to anyone who wants to become hair free. It comes in a very nice stylish bag which holds the machiene very nicely with a venus razor. I'd certainly reccomend this.

I'm black, but relatively fair skin, and still struggled with this IPL. The detector found it hard to detect the hair on my skin even though I have strawberry spots and my hair is not fine at all. I thought I could use this on my bikini line, but this IPL refused to detect the difference between the hair and skin in that region altogether. All-in-all, it is a decent product, but only for a limited range of customers and odds are, you're better sticking to whatever form of hair removal has worked for you in the past instead of purchasing a product that costs as much as a vintage designer bag. Priorities lol

I have been testing the Silk expert Pro 5 IPL for approx 5 weeks, I am so happy with the results, this product exceeded my expectations. I started to get a lot of unwanted hair on chin, around navel and on chest when I was pregnant and I hate it, struggled to get rid but now I am happy. The design is innovative making it comfortable and easy to use, quickly adapts to your skin colour and any differences on your body. Even with tricky delicate areas no pain and my skin especially around navel has now started to get smooth for first time in 15 years!. I would recommend this to anyone, yes it is a big outlay but think how much you spend at a salon what every 4-6 weeks which includes pain and possibly embarrassment. I have used on legs, bikini line, navel, underarms, chin and chest and I am so happy, underarms seem to be taking longer but hopefully by week 12 I will stop weekly use and just maintenance care every 12- months. This comes with a stylish soft carry bag and a venus razor.

I am so pleased with this product the results are fantastic, I've been using it for 5 weeks now and the results are great especially on my legs, they feel the smoothest they have in a long time, I feel so much more comfortable getting my legs out now as I know there are no rogue patches that I have missed like there usually is with just shaving alone. The travel bag it comes in is really nice quality and I love how it has two leads one for UK and one for Europe which meant i was able to take it on holiday with me, which I was really glad about as I would not be with out this product. it really is a godsend especially if you are like me and can be quite lazy or don't have the time to be keeping on top of leg shaving.

I received the Silk-expert Pro 5 PL5124 IPL as part of an online trial - I was initially skeptical and didn’t know what to expect however was pleasantly surprised! I’ve struggled with unwanted hair for several years and have tried pretty much every hair removal method on the market! I previously had laser at a clinic which had good results but very expensive! The silk expert pro IPL machine is great - it’s easy, straightforward and can be used at home with very little pain (you just feel a small twang)! It also works! Overall I’m impressed and would recommend this product to anyone searching for a more permanent hair removal product!

I have PCOS and one of the side effects is excessive hair growth. This is something I have really struggled with over the years and have pretty much tried every single form of hair removal with limited or no results. I decided to try out the Braun Pro 5 and have mainly focused on facial hair. The pro 5 arrived the bag it comes in is really nice good quality and stylish inside the bag I found the Pro 5 device with both the standard attachment and the precision attachment which is more suited to some areas of the face such as upper lip and chin area as I found the standard attachment couldn’t get to these areas properly. There was the instruction manual a Venus Extra Smooth razor and the power cable. Make sure you read the instruction manual, I found this easy to read. After reading through the instructions I started to do a patch test; The pro 5 has three intensity settings which you need to test to find out which suits the skin area you are wanting to treat I did this on my cheek and then left it for 24 hours to make sure I had to adverse effects. After 24 hours I started my treatment; The device has a sensor to make sure it is fully in contact with the skin this is shown by a strip of lights on each side of the device the lights will be red if there is no contact and the machine won’t work, Once in contact with the skin the light will turn green and will begin to work I used mine on the middle setting on my cheeks and neck then I used the precision attachment on the highest setting in my top lip and chin. Depending on the level you choose the unit will adjust the speed of each pulse with the higher heat setting being the slowest and the lowest heat is faster. If you keep the button held the unit with continuously flash or you can press it once at a time, you choose whichever you feel more comfortable with. This is now my fifth week of using the product and the results have been amazing. Because my hair growth is caused by a hormonal imbalance I assumed it would take much longer to see any kind of difference however I have patches on both my cheeks and neck that are smooth and I haven’t noticed further hair growth in these areas. Everywhere else the hair growth is much slower and the hair is becoming more sparse. I will continue to use this product once a week and expect even more amazing results. I finally feel more confident I truly cannot recommend this product enough and am excited to see what happens.
