Silk-épil 9 - Epilator with Wider Head

I absolutely love this !!! On first impressions of opening the box it looks really smart and a cool design . I must admit though, I was a little overwhelmed by all the attachments but once I read the clear information on the Braun website about this product I found it easier and clearer than the instructions that came with it . I have now used all attachments and used the epilator and shaver on most of my body ! So simple to use and NOT painful at all when you pull the skin tight . The hair takes a lot longer to regrow compared to shaving and definitely better than waxing or hair removal creams . It’s fabulous that it can be used wet or dry . Perfect for anytime anywhere as it’s so quick to take out and use . There’s a hand type attachment like a razor that’s extremely useful for taking on holiday . I’ve previously been sceptical about epilators and shavers through past experience. But how technology has changed !!!

Well times have certainly changed since the last shaver/epilator I bought . I didn’t think anything was as good as using a razor . Not only am I silky smooth but the hair regrowth is very slow . I’m very impressed . I did find however that there are better instructions on the Braun website plus tips .. for instance to pull skin tight whilst using the epilator for a total pain free experience. The attachments that are included are somewhat confusing to start with but once you find the ones you need and for what area it’s simle after that . Like I said , clearer details on website . The fact that it can be used wet or dry is a definite bonus . What a clever gadget that also looks so cool ! Would recommend. Will not use anything else now !!

I have been using epilators for a number of years from various manufacturers and this is the best one yet. The additional heads for exfoliation are excellent as I do get ingrowing hairs so including this to prevent them is fantastic. The trimmer is far better than one I bought that was supposed to be the best on the market. Most importantly the epilator head is wide, quiet and takes even the smallest of hairs that you can barely see leaving me smooth and totally fuzz free. Great product.

I am very impressed with the Braun Silk wet and dry epilator. The epilator itself is a nice white and rose gold colour which looks quite stylish. It is ergonomic and fits my hand well. I am fairly new to epilating but this made the experience less painful and left my legs feeling nice and smooth. I used it straight after showering which seems to be less uncomfortable than when using on dry legs. I am also impressed with the accessories that also come with the epilator. The bikini trimmer is brilliant, easy to use and leaves the skin smooth and hair free. I am very impressed with the whole package as it is great value for money and I would definetely recommend it.

For the past few weeks I have been using the BRAUN Silk epil 9 skin spa. 4in1 epilator with senso smart, I have never used an epilator and to be honest I was a bit scared ( I have heard it’s painful )but I was very pleasantly surprised! I started off in the Shower using the fantastic EXFOLIATING BRUSHES these left my skin lovely and soft and feeling refreshed, I then started slowly epilating, at first it felt tingly, but no pain ! Within 20 mins I had done both legs ankle to top of thighs ! Brilliant! and converted lol. The senso smart pivoting head followed the curves of my legs perfectly and also prevents pressing to hard too. Afterwards I got back in the shower and re exfoliated my legs with the softer brush, dried and then moisturised. My legs look fantastic and are still hair free nearly 9 days on! I now use the exfoliating brushes in the shower everyday to help prevent any pesky ingrown hairs, although I have not experienced any as yet! I also epilated my arm pits and bikini line, again no pain. The shaver head works terrifically and can be used on any part of the body with its guide shields it can cut to any desired length. There is also an ultra portable personal shaver and bikini shaver in 1 which again is brilliant, I have pcos so unfortunately get excessive hair growth and this is a dream I have used it on my bikini line and also on my face just under my chin and along the hairline and can say it’s a doddle to use and perfect to carry in your bag for little touch ups. All in all this is an amazing piece of beauty kit which is a must have for any modern woman wanting an all in one grooming kit that does what it says and has proven excellent results. Braun is one of my favourite brands associated with women's skin and beauty. I've been using Braun Silk-épil 9 SkinSpa for a few weeks and I only say that this device is one of their best ever. What I liked about this device is being cordless so the ability to use it in the shower make it more convenient and hassle free. There are so many attachments to use (about 13) however, I only used 4 or 5 max but it's completely up to you as you might use all of them. It was nearly pain free thanks for the massager that stimulate the skin and reduce the pain. I would highly recommend it for male and female use .

Loved the Braun silk epil 9 skin spa made my legs and arms silky smooth with no problems.... Under arms proved a little uncomfortable ... The scrubbing attachment was amazing

I would like to recommend Braun Silk-épil 9 SkinSpa . Easy to use removes even the smallest hair, the skin is very smooth and not irritated.

Razors leaving 5 o'clock shadows are really not my thing, nor is the sticky clean up needed after a waxing session, and with my previous epilator needing a replacement, I was really excited to have a go with this one! Even though the packaging stated 13 extra attachments, this became a little daunting once I had opened the box. 13 extra electronic bits and bobs! Thankfully, a handy instructions pamphlet was waiting inside just for me. The instructions was very clear and after reading, I felt much more capable of handling this gadget. Since the device needs a 2 hour charge before use, I had plenty of time to get myself fully aquainted with it! After introductions were over, the bits and bobs and I became very good friends; they weren't as scary as I first thought! And after two hours, it was time to team up and rid the world of my hairy legs! The epilator fits in your hand, without feeling too big and bulky or too small that you're too busy trying not to drop it. It's a little heavier and bigger than I'm used to, but the weight actually made it easier to control and stop myself from pressing too hard against my skin. The machine itself is very pretty. Being a sucker for anything sparkly, it's sleek design and the diamond sparkles makes me want to put it up on display! The exfoliation brush attachment was very easily set up and was a very relaxing massage... But I don't see how this brush can be capable of helping my ingrowing hairs to escape; great concept, but the brush is just too too soft. If you want to get a good exfoliation action going, you're better off doing it manually by yourself with an exfoliating brush (thus my reason for losing one star). But the exfoliation brush was excellent and gentle for exfoliating and massaging my face instead. Not it's intended purpose, but I'd hate for it to go to waste and never to be used. So onto the actual epilation! I had to go over the same area a few times to get every single hair and the smart light was very handy to pinpoint those tiny intruders. There were a few stubborn stubble left over which were too small to be picked up so I pressed the epilator a little harder than normal. This activated the sensosmart feature and turned the happy white smart light into an angry red. So I won't be doing that again! The next day, after a good scrub with my own brush to exfoliate my legs, the epilator did a fantastic job of getting the pesky hairs that were left behind previously. The experience was pain free! All i felt was a prickly tickle sensation (on my legs at least. I was a crybaby when it came to facial hair! But that's due to my own pain threshold being whimpy). After discovering the mistake of trying to epilate longer leg hairs than the recommended length (let me just say... ow..), changing the heads to the electric trimmer with the guide brush was very quick. After a quick trim, I was able to get back into epilating the rest of my legs and underarms. There is a separate bikini trimmer included too which you can use instead if you didn't want to change the heads. Being cordless came out to be a huge bonus. My previous epilator was a corded one and I could definitely see the difference. I wasn't getting tangled up by the wire and I had a lot of freedom in where I moved the epilator and where I moved too (hogging the socket is now a thing of the past!). After finishing the session, there was plenty of battery juice left. How did I know this? Well there's a handy indicator that tells me if there's 15min battery time remaining! Clean up couldn't be easier. Use the brush and dust away all the loose hairs and dry skin or pop the attachments under the tap! No time wasted, just leave to dry and into the big pouch it goes! It's great to know that when you're done, you can get up and go. Extra bonus, the pouch has two sections! So I can put all the heads into one and the epilator to the other. Overall, this machine is a very easy to use and very adaptable device. Easy to clean and easy to store into one handy pouch. And no confusing unnecessary bits and bobs. No more stubble, no messy aftermath and I would say much less painful compared to waxing. Definitely the secret to beautiful hair free skin that needs to be shared!

This is my new best friend. I have had two epilators before both were mains operated. This is my first cordless and can be used on wet or dry skin i like to use mine on dry skin. As well you get easy to follow instructions. I first used it on my legs with great results lovely smooth legs and no hairs left behind. It even sounds good as my last two sounded like a lawnmower. A red light show up if you are pushing to hard but you have to be pushing very hard for this to show up. You get two exfoliation brushes to help with ingrowing hairs and removing dead skin i have been using an exfoliating glove but will now be using the brushes. Next i did my bikini with the trimmer it was easy to use and very quick removed the hair very well. I prefer not to epilate under my arms so i used the shaver head which gave me a very good close shave. All in all 10/10 very impressed with this kit.
