Firstly, from the box, this looks like a great razor. The various attachable and detachable heads are always a winner and allow variation and control. More than that, they are quick and easy to interchange too, so that went down really well. The motor and power were also great, but where I felt a bit nonplussed was with the blue rubbery grip. I suspect this will be a big plus for a lot of people, but for me, the garish colour detracted from what could have been a more suave and classy finish to the appearance, but more importantly, it also felt odd in my grip too. Something about the grip just wouldn't sit comfortably with me and I found I was constantly juggling how I was holding it. That said, it was not a bad experience at all, but is certainly an area that I felt let it down slightly. The little extras like the brush are all great, but only join the collection of brushes I already have. Personally too, the foil razor is less effective than a rotary, but the attachments for beard trimming were really good. Simple to swap over and felt good too.

A 2 prong charger also comes in the box. The battery life is very good however, I got over the 45 minutes stated, and have only charged it once in 2 weeks. I don't close shave so I was more concerned with the beard trimming attachments. The are quite narrow and so took a bit of time to shave as opposed to others I have tried. However was a nice even trim and have no complaints on the finish. Another positive is the fact it is waterproof, no need to worry about dry brushing and making a mess of your sink, just pop of the cap and rinse. Overall a decent mid range razor, which can ampley carry out a wide range of trimming tasks

Beard shortened really well. Later tried shaved completely. Facial skin was not completely smooth, but compared with the old shaver, this one is much better. I like it that can be used for wet and dry shaving.

In my opinion It shaves closer than my previous shaver; there is one big issue though. If you have a decent length of beard it can sometimes require you to go over a couple of times to even it all up, it seems to miss some parts. Which isn't the end of the world but means it takes a little extra time and concentration. The parts that come with the shaver are of good quality and clip on easily to the main part. It charges really quickly which is a bonus and then once charged the battery lasts a substantial amount of time. This is definitely a good product for guys who shave everyday, as it works best with short facial hair. Anything longer and you have to take extra time getting your face looking perfect.

The light blue sides give a very nice highlight against the black exterior. The battery life is fantastic length to it. It lasted me almost a week without having to charge it. In regards to the effectiveness of the shave, I am always clean shaven so cant test the beard trimmer unfortunately. I have very irritable skin so usually struggle with itchy skin afterwards. I was pleasantly surprised how little irritation there was after i used it. I don't know whether that was due to the fact that it was a new fresh blade or if the actual razor helped with it. Either was if you are looking for less irritation after shaving, this razor will do the trick.

The percission trimmer is great for tidying up around the edges of my beard but I've found that when using the trimmer it has been missing quite a few hairs leaving small patches longer than others. And also the longest attachment (number 7) is also quite short. The razor itself charges quickly and has a reasonable battery life. I have noticed that it is quite loud compared to other electric trimmers that I've used. the trimming attachment is easy to keep clean and the pouch is useful for keeping everything together.

This is not always convienient when your pushed for time or going away on holiday. After seeing this new shaver hitting the shops I thought I would give electric shavers a second chance. This Braun Series 3 ProSkin razor is perfect as it is a wet and dry shaver and not only that it also has a precision beard trimmer and styler. I was really impressed with how close the shaver had gotten to my skin, was equally as close as a wet shave and was shocked there was no sign of a blue beard. I've tried it wet and dry and although I will be using it as a dry shaver when I'm in a rush or going away I will use it as a wet shaver with shaving gel as this leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh. Now I don't have a beard to be able to comment on the trimming and styling attachment but I have used it to trim my body hair which makes it perfect for grooming. All round great razor. Comes with, Exchangeable shaver head, Exchangeable precision trimmer, 5 trimmer comba, Soft bag for combs, Protective cap, Cleaning brush and a Smart plug for automatic 100-240 voltage adjustment.

High end design - blue inlay on the traditional black exterior give the Braun a little bit cool/funky look. It is lightweight and quiet, comes with more than five attachments, depending on how you want to count them ( trimming between 1-7mm). It provides a close shave either wet or dry, and the beard trimmer makes grooming easy with five comb attachments of different lengths. The beard trimmer attachment works great for touching up sideburns. It also features comb attachments, which easily slide onto and off of the trimmer head, allowing a variety of length options. Braun S3 Shave & Style 3010BT Wet & dry is great gadget. It is a very good shaver with a five-minute quick charge feature. The unit feels durable, performs wonderfully, and is feels comfortable in the hand whilst shaving. I have to admit fantastic product. I highly recommend this shaver not only to men who like to keep their beards looking sharp, but to the close shave crowd who loves an electric.

I thought I would give a try straight out the box. At this point, the hair on my face was roughly 5 or 6 days uncut - so quite thick. I used the foil cutter to shave this but it hardly had any effect. I don't know if this was because it was too thick and is better suited to short stubble or if the shaver needed a charge prior to use (I think the first). When shaving, it wouldn't even cut the hair when going in the same direction as the hair. Going against the hair and it would cut, but would take a few passes for it to be smooth. I decided to give up at this point and put it on charge - switching back to my other brand shaver to finish the job. After a full charge and with much shorter stubble I tried again. The shaver still didn't cut particularly well going in the same direction as the hair, but it was easier to get a smooth cut. It does also come with another head for trimming, which is very handy and a better use for this razor. Personally, this isn't as good as my other electric razor and I can't see me using this much. It will be handy as a spare should my other razor run out of charge mid shave!

I left my beard for a couple of days before trying out the new Braun Series 3 ProSkin razor. I often find that going straight in with the shaver head leads to snagging hairs which lets be fair hurt! What I liked about the Series 3 was the interchangeable head and trimmer combs. Using the shortest no.1 comb I was able to trim down the beard relatively close to the skin and then swap the head over to the shaver head. The final shave was close, smooth and lasted for the whole day. The weight I think will make it handy for holidays or trips away with work and the battery is pretty good as well. The precision trimmer is effective for side burns or picking off those annoying hairs that seem to grow in all directions and refuse to go quietly. It's easy to clean and maintain although I was surprised that with didn't come with the oil needed to lubricate the heads after a wet shave. Not to worry I have some from an old product knocking around somewhere. Overall I found the shave to be close, smooth and irritation free with for me is a must. This lightweight, Braun Series 3 ProSkin razor has certainly ticked all the boxes.
