I have never used a foil razer. Have had a couple of those rotary ones with 3 heads, but normally wet shave a couple of times a week. However, this is a similar result with a lot less mess. Yes, every now and then I need to stretch my skin a bit in the awkward places, but I would have that to do anyway. One thing I would have changed is the instructions... Have recently tried this shave and am really pleased with the results. It gives a really close shave but doesn’t irritate the skin.I found the battery lasts a week until it needs charging again.I was really pleased that I can use it to wet shave and also dry shave. This is the best shaver I've had in over 30 years of shaving! I suffer from super sensitive skin and normally no matter how I shave I end up with major razor burn and very dry skin for days afterwards. I have tried many different razors both electric and wet shaves without success. I have not used an electric razor for a very long time after losing faith in the one I had. I was given the opportunity to try out this electric razor and it has totally changed my mind. I was pleased with the design and love the fact that it can be used wet or dry. To begin with, I found that it caused irritation as the only way to get a close shave is to shave against your hair growth, this does make for a close shave. I found using it wet was much more comfortable. It require some time for your skin to get used to. The other issue I had was that in certain areas I found it difficult for the shaver to cut, especially the neck. This review was collected as part of a promotion.
