I have fibromyalgia plus many other health problems making it hard to shave my legs and leading to injury every time I did manage to shave with a normal razor but I switched to this Shaver and oh my am I over the moon! I no longer end up injured on my legs and the extra light really helps make sure you don't miss any spots. Would highly recommend

I am usually shaving every morning to stay clean but after using this just the once my hair has come back patchy after a week and it's taken a week to grow which in itself is a miracle for me. Cannot wait to make this a part of my routine and to see how over time it helps maybe even reduce some of the hair.

I didn't find it painful and was quick and gave an excellent result, my legs was covered in red bumps afterwards so maybe don't do just before your going out. I found it so easy to do my legs and underarms (underarms hurt alittle more) and definately going to be my way of removing unwanted hair in future. The only downside was its power cord and it is relatively short. It had a built in light that helps you see where your epilating too.

I made sure my legs were clean and dry, and didn’t shave for 5 days before using, although I did see you can use it on really short hairs too. I found pulling my skin taut and using it on the fastest setting was best for me, it was quicker and removed all the hairs. It’s not painless but it’s certainly much less painful than I was expecting, and my legs looks amazingly smooth after use. My legs were a bit red for an hour or so after using, but it says about this in the manual so I expected it and used it at night. By the morning all the redness had gone. It’s a week later now and I’ve no regrowth showing at all, which is fantastic. I’ve ditched all my razors and will be using this from now on. It’s brilliant.

The light makes it easier to see where you are epilating while looking in the mirror and it removes hair effectively . I use the shaver on my legs and it gives a great close shave . Easy to clean with the supplied brush but it’s a shame there is no plug included in the box .

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive (coupon, discount, free sample, sweepstakes, contest with raffle etc).] I highly recommend the epilator part, this works brilliantly on my thick dark leg hairs, works best after you've bath/showered as your skin is softer and will hurt less as it works it's magic... It took me about 4-5 goes till my legs we're fully smooth. The shaver part doesn't really do it for me unfortunately but it's a good added extra if that's what you're looking for. The main downside to this is that it's mains powered and the lead is way too short, I have to sit on the floor close to the wall socket.... The lead should definitely be at least double the length.

This one doesn’t seem to tug at the hair just pulls it out effortlessly, I did both my legs in around 20 minutes and they are still hair free. I did come up in a rash afterwards but please be aware it is normal and will go in a few hours! My only down side is this didn’t come with a plug so I had to buy an adapter plug (a 2 pin to 3 pin) which was a shame as I wanted to use it straight away

I decided to try this Braun silk epilator, firstly it was easy to unpack and set up. One thing was that the plug was 2 pin , this wasnt mentioned on the box, so maybe I think they should mention it somewhere in the description as people might not have one. It wasnt a problem for me, as we did have an adapter so I could use it straight away. I found I had to go over the hairs on my legs a few times before it got rid of them, but at least it didnt cut me. Under arms was easy, I have a few skin tags under my arms which I was worried about but the epilator didnt catch them at all. Whilst it did hurt a bit, I figured this was better than cutting myself with a razor and my skin will get used to it. I especially loved the light, it was really helpful in seeing the shorter hairs on my leg. Overall I liked this and will continue using it.

The light really helps to see any light or ingrowing hairs. Although it doesnt get the ingrowing hairs out due to being under the skin it does help you see them easier. The heads can be changed really easily and click when in place. The device is comfortable to hold and not slippy or heavy. Although attached to a cable/plug it's long enough to strech and move around the get to any hard to reach places. After removing the hair it did give me small red bumps on my skin where the hair had been removed. It wasnt painful after but a little uncomfortable during but you got used to it. You can pick most hairs up with the first try, but due to the angle of hairs will need to go over the area again. It will pick up all lengths of hair so can be used any time. The 2 settings are fast and slow, I would recommend if a first time user for a slower setting. To clean the epilator, simply remove the head use the brush provided to get rid of the unwanted hair. Would recommend this product and use again.
